( TRIGGER WARNING: suicide/knife mention )
The car ride back to the Shack was ominously silent. Except for what was going on in Dipper's head, of course. Dipper was so confused and scared of what was going on, that he didn't even comment on Stan's horrible driving like usual, or even answer when Wendy tried talking to him. He normally always answered when Wendy talked to him. She knew something was up. "Dude, snap out of it.", she said, snapping at his face. Dipper jumped a bit, considering he was in such deep thought.

"You alright? You've been pretty out of it since the end of Mabel's play, man."

"Y-yeah, I'm good. Just a bit shaken up from being on stage and being the 'crazed demon'... Heh..." Inside of his head, Bill was seething with anger. Dipper knew he wouldn't like him taking the credit, and calling him 'crazed', but he couldn't flat out tell Wendy it was an actual demon. She would think he was insane.

"Well, I think you did a great job," she smiled, pushing Dipper's hat down playfully. "You really pulled a good one! Just a question. If you and Mabel fell from the top, who was doing all that puppet junk?"

Crap.

"Uh, it was Grenda. Her and Candy were in on the whole thing, too," he bluffed, scratching the back of his neck. Luckily, they were starting to near the Shack. The car screeched around the twisted dirt road that led to the place. Dipper was surprised Stan and Soos hadn't joined their conversation. But it seemed like they were talking about other things themselves.

"Hey, Dipper, when did Mabel say she was comin' back again? Honestly, whenever's fine with me, but someone's gotta know," Stan questioned.

"Uh, um..." Dipper's mind raced. He couldn't even remember what Mabel told him. Along with that, Bill was filling all of his thoughts as well. He couldn't get the stupid demon off of his mind. "Uh...."

"Eheh, it's alright kid. You can just tell me when we get back, got it?"

Dipper nodded, immediately getting lost in his thoughts again. They pulled up to the Shack.

"Alright, everyone out! Before I lower your pay. Wait, that would be illegal. HAH, WHO AM I KIDDING?" Stan laughed, while Wendy rolled her eyes. Soos chuckled a bit. "Heh, good one, Mr. Pines."

At this point, Wendy was already walking back home, while Soos hopped in his car. He drove away. It was just Dipper and Stan. Well, really, Bill was there too.

The two walked into the Shack. "So, do you know when Mabel's coming back, or nah?" Stan walked into the living room, sitting on his chair. He let it recline. "Well, uh, no."

"I'm sure that Gabe guy is responsible enough. It's fine, Dipper. How 'bout you get some rest. There's work to be done tomorrow!" Stan laughed, and saw the disgust on his great nephew's face. "Heh, that's what I like to see! Alright. Now seriously, get to bed."

Dipper groggily nodded, trudging up the stairs. He changed from his reverend costume to his pajamas, and flopped over onto the bed. He fell asleep almost immediately. However, Bill didn't do the same. He stayed awake. He opened Dipper's eyes. The brown eyes that Dipper possessed were replaced by black slits. Bill chuckled a bit, now easily maneuvering the boy's body. He creeped down the stairs, seeing as Stan was nowhere in sight. Bill knew exactly where he was. It wouldn't be long before Ol' Sixer came back into this dimension.

The stairs made a loud squeaking noise at each step. Luckily, there was no one else in the Shack.

"I have to get out of this stupid meat sack somehow...," he mumbled, swiftly making his way to the kitchen. He reached into the cabinet, finding a knife. He held it up to Dipper's chest, but stopped.

He rethought.

"Even if I do go through with this... I'll still be bound to this idiot..." Bill sighed, looking down at the blade, which was pointed at his chest. Before he could put it back in the drawer, however, he could hear Mabel burst in through the door. She saw him out of the corner of her eye. "Hey, Dipper- WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" Bill quickly released Dipper's body from his control, handing it off to Dipper. The body fell to the ground, and the knife dropped out of his hand.

"DIPPER!" She ran next to him, slapping his face. "BRO, WHAT THE HECK?!" Dipper opened his eyes, looking around.

"Wh- how did I get down here...?" He looked up at Mabel, who was still slapping him. "Ow, Mabel, please..." He took a closer look. She was on the verge of tears.

"Dipper, why were you holding a knife?"

"W-What?" He sat up, his hand knocking the knife over a bit. "How did I even..." His eyes widened. Bill.

"Mabel, I need to tell you something. But you have to promise me you'll keep it a secret."
