The Swim

Laura's POV
When we got to a less crowded part of the beach me and Ross dove in he looked at me and smiled I giggled it's so peaceful, I love swimming. We started off to Mako and were holding hands. It does get quite annoying when I have to stop so he can take a breath although he can hold his breath for at least 10 mins but I can hold mine for hours. As we were seining I started to think about all the good times I had in the past before this whole mermaid crap, I used to compete competitively swimming, I was the best until now. My sister always questions why I stop and I lie and tell her that I developed a fear of water.  I hate lying to her and Rydel I really wanted to tell her but I just can't and the other guys are just to immature. Me and Ross finally got to the moon pool and he sat up on the step while I rested on the little rock. "Beautiful isn't it.." I said "Yeah my view is just fantastic" he said with a smile I giggled knowing he was talking about me he was always saying sweet stuff like that. "Your so sweet, I'm lucky to have someone like you" I smiled out "Yeah I know I'm pretty awesome" he smirked, I laughed."So you wanna head back?" "Don't forget that people who don't have tails have this thing they need to do when their tierd is called resting." He said, I just laughed about 30 mins later after we talked some more we headed home.
