Chapter 3

*Alec's POV*

I woke up the next morning still holding Mia in my arms. She looks so beautiful when she sleeps,the way her long light brown hair falls perfectly on he shoulder and over her face.

I got out if bed carefully to not wake her as she turned over leaving her arm out of the covers. I looked at her once again and then saw something on her arm. I bent down by the bed and looked at her arm closer seeing scars and some fresh cuts. I softly rubbed my thumb against them and she groaned and turned over, I quickly stood up and walked out of the room.

What has her step dad been doing to her. Was all I kept thinking about as I sat down on the coach and starred at the tv that wasn't on.

*Mia's POV*

I got up to see tat I wasn't in my room but then quickly remember that I sated with Alec last night. I got out d bed and went into the living seeing him sitting on the coach but the tv wasn't on.

"Hai" I said sitting next to him as he pulled me closer to him. He so sweet and caring but I don't really know him. What if he does what my step dad did to

Me last night or what if he try's to muddier me.

"Good morning, sleeping beauty" he said as I looked at him to see a smirk planted on his face. I rolled my eyes playfully.

"I was wondering if I could take you out to diner tonight?" He asked. "Uh-" I said worried that something might go wrong but before I could thank anymore I answered his question "-sure I'd love that" I said giving him a small smile.

I got up off the coach going to go get dressed as I realized I didn't bring any clothes to go out in.

"Uh... Alec, do you thank you can take me by my house so I can have something nice to wear tonight?" I asked as he nodded his head grabbing his keys and we walked out to the truck.

"Just stop right here" I said as e stopped at the corner of the street. "Mi, are you sure I can trying you to you house you know" I shook my head. "No, stay here ill be back" I said getting out of his truck and running to my house.

I went to the gait and opened it walking into my back yard. I climbed the little finites and climbed into my room.

I trying to stay as quit as possible grabbing my make-up bag and then putting some more clothes in a bag that were nicer. All of a sudden he opened my door looking me dead in the eyes. "WHERE THE HELL HVE YOU BEEN, WHORING AROUND SOME MORE LIKE YOU DD FOR ME LAST NIGHT" he said the last part with a smirk on his face. I looked at him slowly making my way to my window. I was about to climb out when he pushed me out the window making me fall to the ground. My leg was killing me but I k we I could just lay there and let him come out and beat me. I got up grabbing my bag and putting in my back as I tried to run out the gait.

I was almost to Alec's truck and fell. I guess he saw me because he got out and picked me up. Running back to his truck and putting me in.

"Mi, what the hell happen? Can you please tell me what's going on"

I started to cry as I looked at him. He wiped a tear away with his thumb and cupped my face in the palm of his hands. "Mi, you can trust me I'm not and will never hurt you" he said looking at me with sadness and care in his eyes. I burst into tears shaking my head baking our gaze.

He didn't say anything he just started his truck and took us I his house.

Once we were there he picked me up and took me inside sitting me on the coach. He propped my leg up putting ice on it and sat next to me as I laird my head on his chest. I felt his rap his arm out me as I listened to his steady heart beat. I want to tell him but I just can't I don't want to not like me and put me out on the streets. But I know if I ever want to go feather with him he's goin to have to know my past. So I might as well tell him now and get it over with.

"Alec" I said softly raising my head up from his chest. He made a (hmm) sounds as he looked at me.

"I'm scared" I said to him as he leaned up straighter. "Scared of what" he asked. "Sacred of everything, scared of my step dad calming after me. Alec he abused me he is so mean, so abusive. Alex he rapped me, he took the only promise I had left for my mom. He took it was just like that. And more importantly I'm scared if l-loosing y-you-" I stuttered as a tear rolled down my cheek and he wiped it away with his thumb. "-I know we just meat but Alec I have feelings for you like I haven't had for anyone els, you make me feel so safe. I don't want that to go away from you knowing about my pa-" I was cut off by his lips pressing against mine. I kissed back not even flinching as he softly touched my face pulling away resting his forehead on mine. "I'm not going anywhere, I promise".

He rubbed his thumb against my cheek as he looked me in the eyes.

I wanted to stay like this forever. In his arm him holing me, feeling his touch giving me goosebumps every time.

*Alec's POV*

I was sitting there with her in my arms. Knowing that she has the same feelings for me makes me so happy.

I want to keep he away from he dad I don't want him to touch her. I want to kick his ass so bad for what he has out her through !

I have an idea , we can run away, run away and not come back for awhile.

"Mi, I have an idea." "Ok what is it?" She asked. "We can run away together. . ."
