Jake's Short Beginnings

When I woke up, my brother was standing over me with 3 older guys. "She's awake!", my brother Josh screamed. I looked around and realized that they had taken me off the sand and onto the boardwalk. I jumped up looking for Jake, and I realized he was gone. "Hey are you ok", one of the other boys yelled? I ignored him, running down the boardwalk trying to find the exit. When I reached the street, it finally hit me. I had missed him, he was gone.

I walked into the house, and threw my purse onto the couch.

"Hey house was the Beach", my mom asked.

"Oh it was great mom, I met 5 guys who asked me to come with them to the skate park tomorrow, and we saw Mila Kunis, and then Ashley got hit in the head with a volleyball", Josh chimed in.

"Are you ok sweetie", mom asked.

"Yeah I'm fine, completely fine", i said, putting my headphones on.

"Oh no you don't, take those off. were going to dinner at the neighbors house, so go get changed", mom yelled.

I went upstairs and changed into my Hollister shorts, and the button down I stole from my ex.

I ran downstairs, and grabbed my purse. As we left the house, my phone rang. It was him, my ex, Jacob. I ignored the text and continued walking with my family. When we reached the house, my mom rang the bell and the door opened, and standing there was Jake.
