ITS PARTY TIME!!!!!!!!!!!

I put on my halloween costume (I am going as Princess Tiana from the Princess and the Frog (blue dress) because that is my movie fam!) and apply little makeup to make my look more natural! But I decided to be a little different besides the bun I decided to go with the side pony instead showing off y natural curls.

"ARI ITS TIME TO GO!", my two best friends called for me.

"Yo fam it is time to turn the fuck up!", TJ yelled.

I am not the one usually for parties but I am beyond excited because I have been praying to see that girl again. There is something about her that sparks my interest. But of course my father had to set me up with an arranged marriage from some broad from Atlanta.

Her father is apart of some big business in hotels or some other shit. I understand that dad wants me to live the rich life forever but I want to find my forever on my own you know.

Now that I have calmed down, I went ahead and put on my costume for this party I am forced upon to. I decided to dress as Li Shang from Mulan (my mothers and mines favorite movie since I was a child) and it was time to party.

Now the party has begun its time for us to forget about the damn drama and let the night take us away.

As the music starts, people are coming in like ants and I must say this has been the biggest turnout in a party I have ever seen.....aye!!!

As soon as I continue with my thoughts, One Dance by Drake comes on.

As everyone was getting into the song how about I spotted the one person I did not want to see....my ex boyfriend Kyle..

Kyle is from this huge investor family from South Africa. His father and my father are very good friends and suggested that we should date then think about marriage in the future.
Well one thing lead to another, I caught him cheating, stealing from me, man I saw him diving drugs in his car!
When I found out, I wanted to end things but.....

.....He hit me.

Yes the strong Ari was in a abusive relationship for 6 months. I was young and stupid and I thought I was helping my family....but I was actually hurting myself mentally.
Long story short this relationship broke up my family in half with my momma taking me away and my brother going back and forth between mom and dad. Don't get me wrong I love my father but I just cannot stand his thirst for power.

As I was caught in my thoughts, Kyle is walking towards my way with that damn smirk and dark eyes towards me.

Then all of a sudden, a hand was put on my shoulder, rubbing it to calm me down.

"Are you ok?" The voice said behind me.
This voice sounds so familiar to me...wait a minute...
I shook my head no waiting on his response.
"Then follow me."
I turn towards the voice to figure it out who it is, my eyes almost popped out of my head.
