One Shots Because I Can

hey frens, some random kid here and as you can see, ive returned from whatever the hell happened. anyway, heres a thing

It was a calm fall afternoon, and Craig was relaxing under a tree in some open field, staring blankly at the sky. Tyler was there next to him, probably napping. The picnic basket that they'd brought was sitting beside his head.

Craig slowly sat up and deeply sighed. The sun was giving a warm glow as afternoon turned to evening, and he couldn't be more content than he was in that moment.

Tyler stirred beside him, and as Craig looked back he saw those soft blue eyes looking over at him. They both smiled at each other as Tyler sat up and placed a soft kiss on his boyfriends cheek.

They sat in a comfortable silence for quite a while, watching the colours beyond the horizon darken into the night. The couple were never really into overly romantic dinners or cheesy movie nights. They were always content in one another's company, it's no wonder they got along so well despite their casual name calling.

As some time passed, they decided that it was time to head home. They got up, grabbed the basket that had once been filled with dinner and treats, and began to walk to their car.

Craig drove, one hand on the wheel, the other holding Tyler's. He was of course almost half asleep, with the smallest smile on his face.

"I love you, Craig," he said while bringing up their hands to kiss the back of Craig's.

"I love you too, Ty" he replied with a smile, quickly glancing over at Tyler to see that he was slowly dozing off.

Soon enough, Craig pulled into their drive way. He slowly let go of his sleeping beauty's hand then went over to his side of the car and carefully picked him up. He brought his lover inside and laid him on their bed, then got in next to him. He fell asleep soon after Tyler had sleepily pulled Craig closer to him.

It was a nice little outing for the two, and together, they couldn't be happier. Even though Mini was an emotional wreck, even though Tyler always has to fight his own depression to get out of bed every morning, they make it work and always come out on top.
