I woke up to someone knocking on the door. I ignored it for a second to take in my surroundings.
Sun was streaming through the cracks in the curtains, and - wait, I wasn't alone in bed. Adam's arms were wrapped around my torso and my back was pressed to his chest. He was so warm and comfortable and I never wanted to get out of bed.
"Ally," I heard Milan call from the door.
"Sh!t," I said under my breath. I carefully untangled myself from Adam and shook him to wake him up.
"Hmm?" he said as his eyes fluttered open.
"You have to hide, like now," I whispered. The knocks became more constant. "Hold on!"
"Where?" he asked, sitting up. I shrugged.
"I don't know! Just go to the bathtub," I suggested. He got up and threw on a pair of boxers before dashing into the bathroom. I rummaged through my suit case and quickly got dressed in sweatpants and a tee shirt. I didn't even attempt to make the bed before I went to open the door.
"Hey!" Milan said as I opened the door. Tuukka was with him.
"Was it necessary to pound on the door while I was sleeping?" I asked. They nodded. I just laughed. "So what did you need?"
"Do you know where Adam is? He's not in his room," Tuukka said. Uh yeah, he's in my bath tub in nothing but his boxers, do you mind? I suddenly became aware of the scene behind me. All of our clothes were still scattered around the floor.
"No, I actually don't," I said, giving everything I had to keep a straight face. "Maybe go check downstairs at breakfast than his room again."
"Okay, see ya!" Tuukka called as the left. I quickly shut the door and leaned my back on it. I then turned and looked out the peephole to see if they were gone before telling Adam the coast was clear.
"That was close," he said with a relieved look on his face. He walked around the room and put on his clothes as he went. There was an elephant in the room, and we both knew it. "About last night-"
I cut him off.
"It was amazing," I said.
"So you don't regret it?" he asked. I shook my head.
"Not one bit," I replied with a smile. He threw his head back and laughed.
"Thank goodness, I was beginning to worry," he said with a grin.
"Yeah, well, there's something else you should know," I said quietly. He gave me a questioning look.
So then I explained why I had been so stressed. I told him about Milan everything. By the time I was done, he was sitting on the edge of the bed, his hands in his hair.
"I can't believe that," he said.
"Adam," I said quietly.
"You lied to me," he said, standing up. I got scared. I knew he would never hit me, but his height over me intimidated me.
"I know. I just didn't have the heart to tell you that-"
He cut me off.
"That you were falling for someone else and that's why you couldn't tell me you loved me."
"Adam, that's absolutely ridiculous," I said quietly.
"How so?"
"Because I'm not falling for anyone," I told him. He gave me a weird look.
"What do you mean?" he asked, his tone softening.
"I already fell," I said softly. "I fell for you."
