Awake All Night

~Chapter Sixteen - Final~

~August 30 1:00~

I'm sitting on my couch watching t.v. Over the last few weeks, it's been nonstop hearing about me being drunk at that party... You know I don't regret it, I learned from my mistake of trusting a stranger. My mum is at a meeting with my manager, and stuff. She should be back shortly.

"I'm home, sweetie." I heard my mum's sweet voice. I turned my head.

"Hey!" I smiled.

She smiled, then came and sat next to me. She took a deep breathe... This means bad news...

"Sweetie... Atlantic Records is expanding... They just built a studio in New York, and..." She paused.

"And what mum?" I asked scared.

"They want you to record there from Monday on... Just you, Cody will be staying here no exceptions.." She sighed.

I feel like my heart has just been ripped out.... My breathing became heavy, and my eyes started to tear up.

"No! I won't do it!! I'm- I- NO!" I yelled the last no, and stood up.

"Bri, you have no choice.." She said, she was really sad too, you could here it in her voice.

I fell to my knees and started to bawl.

My mum kneeled in front of me, and held me.

"Sssshhh. It'll be okay." She comforted.

I pulled away.

"NO! You know what! It won't! I have to leave my best friend slash boyfriend ALL OVER AGAIN!!" I yelled then got up, and headed for the door.

"Where are you going?" She asked.

"Anywhere but here." I bitterly said. I grabbed my backpack, and my keys.

I slid my two button boots on, since I was wearing aztec print leggings, and a burgundy oversized sweater... Who cares what I'm wearing! I have to leave my boyfriend!

I opened the door, walked out, then slammed it behind me.

 I walked to my car and got in. I drove off, to the Simpson's, which isn't that far.

Soon I pulled into their driveway still crying. I got out of my car, and knocked, which I normally don't do.

Angie opened the door.

"Oh my god.." She said under her breathe. "What happened!" She asked hugging me.

"I-I need t-to talk to a-all of y-you.." I said.

"Okay, okay. Come in, sweetie." She said pulling away and letting me come in.

I walked into the living room where Brad was sitting.

"KIDS COME DOWN HERE!" Angie yelled.

I sat on the sofa, and whipped my eyes.

Everyone came in, and looked at me scared.

"What happened?" Cody asked hugging me.

I cried harder knowing that soon I won't be able to feel his touch.
