Awake All Night

~Chapter Ten~

~5:00 pm~

Cody just dropped me off at home...

"I'm home!" I yelled walking through the door.

"Soo?" My mum asked coming down the stairs.

"So nothing. He hasn't asked me!" I said belly flopping on the couch.

"He will sweetie, don't worry. Maybe he's just waiting for the right time." She said kneeling next to me and rubbing my back.

"Maybe you're right." I said.

The home phone started to ring, and my mum got up, then answered it.

"Hello?..... No, she is not...... Yes she can.... I will tell her.... Alright, sweetie.... Be safe...... Okay.... See you soon." My mum said then hung up.

I sat up.

"Who was that? What did they want? Who are you seeing soon? A-" 

"It was Cody he wants to meet you at the beach to watch the sunset at around 6:30." My mum said smiling. "Maybe he will even ask you too be his girlfriend." 

I smiled at her, then hugged her.

"Thanks mum!"  My mum is like my best friend! She has experience with guys, heart breaks, and all that stuff. Plus we became really close when we moved back to Aussie.

I ran upstairs and checked my makeup and hair. 

"MUM! SHOULD I WEAR THIS OR CHANGE?" I yelled.

"YOU LOOK FINE! WHERE WHAT YOU HAVE ON!" She yelled back.

Well at least it makes things easier.

I turned on my radio and plopped onto my bed. I stared at my ceiling fan spinning.

I wonder how long Cody's liked me... I wonder if he has liked me as long as I liked him... When we didn't talk for what felt like forever, did it make him upset too? Maybe Cody liked me as long as I liked him, I mean Stirling said he would always talk about me, so maybe. I can't believe he likes me though. He has changed so much! He has become so much more mature, well at least it seems like it.... 

I wonder how many girlfriends he has had....

I took out my phone and opened up Safari.

I stopped scrolling... I don't really want to know anymore... I found enough...

He's dated a lot of girls... I wonder if he was a player? Maybe I'm just another girl in his little games? No. Stop thinking that... Cody might actually like me, right? He doesn't find dating girls a game...

I tapped the home button and went on kik. I decided to kik Jake, yes Thrupp.

Me: Hey:)

Jake: Hey!:) How's it going being back in L.A?

Me: Fun :) I miss you though! :( You will guess what happened?!

Jake: Cody and You kissed, then made out. :D
