Since I don't want to confuse you guys by jumping on different POV's, I will stay in one which is the airs POV which like a third person describing the story but there's actually no one. STAY FOR THE AUTHORS NOTE!
Chapter Fourteen: Christmas Charity Ball
After the mission was done the New Avengers beyond exhausted and some ecstatic to meet Theodora Holt. Tricia Greyson was having a blast with Theodora Holt or as she nicknamed her Thea after all she was five years isolated in that asylum. They both were currently laughing at some lame joke Tricia said as they ate sushi. Natasha and Steve had some 'business' pending with Director Fury. The three other best friends of Tricia were NEVER allowed to visit her in the asylum so this will be practically there first reunion after five years AND MAYBE they weren't noticed that she will be at the tower. As soon as they entered and laid on the sofa they heard laughing on the kitchen.
"Who the hell is laughing at this hour?" Karen said rubbing her temples, she was beyond tired and the loudness coming from the kitchen at four am in the morning.
"Don't know probably the new girl has a date or something." Ligia said rubbing her temples in frustration of the noise, "Can someone go and tell her to shut up please, it is getting annoying."
"I will go and actually MEET HER and then tell her to lower down her voice." Kendra sassed," Let's be polite!" she yelled heading out.
"James what are you doing?" Frederick asked incredulously as he watched he served himself a glass of bourbon.
"Drinking?" he said raising an eyebrow," Isn't that obvious Frederick?"
"Yeah James but it's four am and that's not healthy at all may I add."
"If I like it I will drink it now stop the-"James was suddenly interrupted by a ecstatic Kendra," GUYS TRICIA IS HEREEEEEEEE!"She yelled.
"SHE IS? "Everyone else yelled with excitement running towards the kitchen. Once they all hugged Tricia and told them how much they missed her she turned toward Theodora who was scratching her neck nervously. Sensing that Thea was left out she made her way to her with an apologetic look. Everyone stood silent once they realized that Tricia already knew Theodora.
"So..." James spoke up placing aside his bourbon glass "you guys know each other?" Tricia glanced at Thea for some sort of heads up to see if it was okay to talk to them about it. She finally nodded.
"Yeah we do, we met when I got back from the asylum Fury wanted you to be surprised so I went to get her" Tricia shrugs as if it wasn't that big of a deal.
"Well that explains it can I go back to sleeping now?" Ligia signaled to her room already making her way back when a hand holds her making her return while lazily placing their arm over her shoulders.
"Relax Ligia now that we're up we have to keep up with Tricia" James states. Making Ligia scowl and take his hand off of her.
"Can't we do that later? I mean it is four in the morning, besides Tricia is going to be here in the morning when we all wake up right?" She receives a nod from Tricia, pleased with her answer and bidding goodbye she returns to her room.
"Remind me never to wake her again" Kendra whispered to Karen receiving a tap on the shoulder in confirmation.
"So, are guys ready for the ball?" Frederick asks. Tricia and Thea gave questioning looks to one another.
