Carl's pov

I examined Luna carefully, my blue
                           irises scanning
her face. Blood stained her clothes and
                   her curly blonde hair
was matted and her face was caked in
                    dirt. She was beautiful.
She had the greenest eyes I had ever
                seen that could make
anyone shiver. (Picture of eyes above.)    So, you're alone?" I
                asked her. She nodded
"It feels like forever since I have seen eyes that weren't dead." I nodded.
                "So where are your
parents?" She asked. I just shook my
                  head. Her green
eyes swept with an emotion I could
             only describe to you
as understanding. I made my way
             towards the door,
opening it. I peered behind me, seeing
             the girl had confusion
swept across her face. "Where are you
              going?" She asked.
          "Where ever you're going."

Luna walked a little way ahead of me,
                and I followed. My
father couldn't have known I would
             meet Luna on my
journey to find him. The harsh reality
          is that he's probably dead.
Luna snapped me out of my thoughts.
          "So, why are you following
me again? I'm fine on my own." She
           said. "Well, I'm trying
to find my father, we got separated a
          few days ago. He said
something... it's not important but I
           could just really use
an alliance between me and another
           person right now." She
nodded swiftly before moving again.
           I wondered why she
was so closed off. She didn't speak
often and kept a straight face.
We continued walking along the
       outskirts of the forest
when all of a sudden, dead ones began
to come out of the woods.
Luna continued walking, until one got
close. She pulled out a gorgeous
butterfly knife, a deadly weapon, and
began to take out all of the
walkers around her. She paused to
         catch her breath, and one
more emerged from the tree line. Her
back was to it, so I took
my knife out and tackled it to the
        ground, killing the dead one.
Upon hearing the thump, Luna turned
to face us. "I had it." She said
blankly. "Yeah you're welcome." I spat,
         getting up and dusting
my pants off. "I would have been fine."
         she said nonchalantly.
"You would have been dead." I shot
          back. "I'm immune asshole."
"Yeah, and I'm the star of a tv show."
(HONEY IF ONLY YOU KNEW)
And then she pulled up her sleeve,
         revealing more than just
self harm scars. In the midst of them
was a scar, in the shape of
a jaw. She's immune to the disease
the whole population carries
