"Out of all the art surrounding me all I could look at was him, because he is art."

Day twenty seven of five hundred thirty eight.

"Arabella, your boyfriend is here." Mom sings, pushing my bedroom door open as I roll my eyes.

"Jack isn't my boyfriend mom, we are just friends." But it wasn't Jack, it was Nick.  "Oh! Hey!"

"Hey, what are you doing today?" He takes his shoes off and sits on the other side of my bed. I close my current book, the maze runner, and sigh. His hand goes to my hair, twirling it around his fingers as I close my eyes.

"I was planning on finishing the book, why?" He stops playing with my hair, patting my leg before standing up.

"We are going somewhere, now get ready. I'll be chilling with Gray." He closes the door behind him when he leaves, causing me to stare at the door in confusion.

I didn't know what he meant by get ready, if I should dress nice or causal. So, a black dress and black boots later, we were in the car.

"You know, you look nice." Nick looks at me and smiles, running his hand through his hair before setting back on the steering wheel. His bruises were covered with a gray sweatshirt, which looks beautiful on him. Then again, anything looks good on him.

"You do too." I smile and he shakes his head. He doesn't say anything and just turns on the radio.

"Nick?" He raises his eyebrows and looks at me, turning back to the road a few seconds after.

"What's up? Did I do something wrong?" A frown was evident on his face, causing me to shake my head.

"No! I was just gonna ask where we're going." He nods while changing the radio station, before sighing and looking at me again.

"Oh, okay. We're going to an art museum. When you left they built one and I know you always wanted to go to one. If you don't want to go we don't have to." Nick says as he turns onto a different road, my heart swelling.

"Dude of course I want to go! I've never been to one before!" I cheer, smiling the most I have in a while. It doesn't even confuse me how Nick remembered that, like it would have if I wasn't so pumped about this.

"Okay good. Just going to warn you now, there's some paintings in there that are, very, different. I'll warn you when you're getting close to them." Nick almost laughs to himself while shaking his head.

"What?"

"You'll see."

The rest of the ride was Nick whispering songs on the radio when I was snapchatting Gray. I'm pretty sure Gray is closer with Nick then I am.

"So any new movies you're in love with?"

"Nanny McPhee is bloody brilliant." I laugh, Nick shaking his head.

"That was the worst British accent I have ever heard in my life."

"What? That's a lie."

We reach the museum, myself literally running to the front door. I hear Nick laugh behind me, before he catches up to me. We walked into the silent place, barely anybody in there. Nick walks up next to me, looking around the place before cringing while looking at the corner.

"This is so beautiful."

"Well, everything has beauty." Nick responds, pushing his hair out of his face.

"What do you mean by that?" my eyebrows were pulled together in confusion as I look up at the tall boy, who was looking around.

"Well, look around. Everything has it's own beauty. Like you for example. You have beauty, a beautiful personality, and there's just something about you. Aesthetic wise I guess." Nick says, looking at me before looking around the place. Before I can say anything, Nick walks towards a painting, myself quickly following.

"So, how do you know about the different paintings?"

"I've been here a lot after you left." Nick says, not even taking his gaze away from the painting. It was just then when I start thinking about what Nick said, and his beauty was astonishing. Of course,I knew Nick had beauty, but I saw it in a new light.

Even with the bags under is eyes, he was still beautiful. He's always been beautiful, and I can't get over it. He was the definition of beauty. And even though nothing can stay beautiful forever, Nick will. Nick's beauty will live on for ages, even though he won't.

"Why are you staring at me like that?" Nick turns to me, snapping me out of my daydream.

'Wha- oh, sorry. I was just thinking."

"What about?"

"You. Your beauty more specifically."

"I don't have beauty, that's like saying a zombie has beauty." He shakes his head.

"Zombies do have beauty, everything has beauty. They don't have as much beauty as you." Nick rolls his eyes at me while smiling at my cheesy line.

"Thank you Arabella, I haven't heard anyone call me that in two years. It means a lot." his eyes sparkle and he hugs me. I hug him back tighter then ever, smiling.

"You deserve a lot Nick."

We looked at the paintings in silence, a small smile etched onto Nick's face.

Out of all the art surrounding me I could only look at him, because he is art.
