WARNING: THIS CHAPTER IS VERY SHORT AND ALL OVER THE PLACE. NOTHING IMPORTANT IS IN THIS CHAPTER, AND YOU WON'T MISS ANYTHING IF YOU READ THIS. IT'S SIMPLY A FILLER.

Day one hundred twenty out of five hundred thirty eight.

Nick smiles, moving his hand over his eyes. We were currently sitting in a restaurant with our families, and Nick was playing peek-a-boo with the baby next to us. Harry was sitting next to me, eating a pancake while Gray talked to him about something.

"Dude, baby isn't interested."

"Yikes, okay." Nick responds, turning back towards me. "So how do you feel about getting married?"

"What?" I cough, grabbing my water and drinking it. Nick laughs, pointing at me while eating his waffle. I roll my eyes at his joke, my dad laughing and high fiving him.

"I'm so glad you're back. I couldn't stand that Lex girl, she was always so rude." Miranda speaks up, Nick clearing his throat at the mention at her. I smile at him, answering his mom. We had a full discussion, Nick not looking at anything but his plate.

After breakfast, Nick sat silently in my car. I could tell he was upset  with everything that his mom said, but it's obvious she didn't know. I put my hand on his for support, and he just looks over at me and smiles. "Can we go back to mine and cuddle?"

"Yeah, of course." I smile and turn the radio on, Nick grabbing my hand back.

----

"Blankets?"

"Check. Love Actually?"

"Check. Pillow?" I look up from our checklist to see Nick patting his shoulder.

"Check. Drinks?" I point at the cans of pop and water I had on my side, Nick's side the same, just add a few cans of beer.

"Check. Best friend?"

"Check, now let's do this." Nick sits on his couch, grabbing the remote as I sat next to him. He hits play and the movie starts while he puts his arm around me. I lean against him and we start watching the movie.

Sure, there were a few awkward scenes, but other then that, the movie was great. I only wanted to watch it because Thomas Brodie-Sangster was in it, but now I genuinely think it's a good. For what I've seen anyway. I was mostly looking at Nick, but could you really blame me? Nick's beauty was way better to look at then some movie about Love when, really, Nick was love. Nick was anything and everything. He serves such a big purpose in everyone he knows life, yet he has no idea how big of an impact he's left on us.

"Is that the dad from Nanny McPhee?"

"What? Oh, um I think. I know that's the guy from Sherlock." I point to the awkward scene on the tv, Nick shifting and clearing his throat.

"Oh, cool. Listen, I'm so glad you're back. I missed you more then you know." I wrap my arms around Nick, who hugs me tightly back.

"I'm glad I'm back too. Illinois was awful."

--

"Oh my god I'm crying." Nick laughs as he wipes his eyes. We were finishing up Love Actually, which is an amazing movie.

"Me too, I'm a mess." I laugh along with him, watching as Sam hugs the girl.

"We can be messes together." Nick looks back at the screen.

"We can be each others messes." I look at him, smiling as he does. He glances at me, staring back at me when he realizes I'm staring at him.

"What? Do I have something on my face?" Nick's hand goes to his face as I shake my head.

"No, I'm just, really happy to be back."

Authors note

This is awful but I wrote this while listening to Zayn's new album and it's one am. I'm so sorry it's boring right now, but I promise it will get better soon.

The story is around half over!!!! I'm writing so many other stories I'm much more excited and motivated for, and I can't wait to share them with everyone. The next one I'm going to post I think is a Stiles stilinski story called "friends". I'm really excited for it and I hope you guys are too.
