Day one hundred fifty out of five hundred thirty eight.

"Bye mom!" Harry hugs his mom right before Nick does, Nick kissing her forehead. I wave to her and walk with Gray to the car. Gray climbs into the car, myself bucking in as Gray leans forward.

"Dude you so like Nick."

"You're right. Not even sorry." I laugh, rolling the window down and propping my leg against the door. Nick runs out of the house with Harry on his back, the both of them laughing. Nick sets Harry next to Gray in the back before climbing into the front.

"Okay, first thing on the list?" I ask as everyone gets buckled in,putting my sunglasses down onto my eyes. Wearing all black was not a good idea.

"I need my hair cut." Nick says and Harry chimes in, "I do too."

"But you guys would have hair all over you for the rest of the day." Gray points out as he holds his phone up.

"You're right, that's why you've always been my favorite Mitchell, Gray." I gasp at what Nick says, turning towards him with my mouth open.

"What the heck dude! I thought we were a team."

"Sorry babe. Okay, so hairs last. What's first then?"

"Steak and Shake! I haven't ate there in years." Harry says, Nick and I glancing at eachother before he turns the radio up. He didn't have the red truck anymore, and had a new black jeep. He had pictures of Harry and his mom on the sun visors, and as he flipped it down there was a picture of us.

"Alright, everyone okay with that?" everyone nods and Nick starts driving. I rest my head on his shoulder, Nick smiling at me. Halsey was playing on the cd he had in, the song reflecting what was going on right now. All we did was drive.

We got to Steak and Shake, the girl ruffling Harry's hair before guiding us to our seats. Harry slid into the booth next to Gray before I could, leaving me between the wall and Nick, not that I'm angry about it. I've been closer to him. Nick put his head on top of mine before smiling at Harry.

"You know that promise you made me before I left?" I whisper, Nick looking at me and nodding. You guys don't know this, but my discussion with Nick was longer before I left. Let me backtrack a little.

"Babygirl, can I promise you something?"

"Yeah, of course." I look at Nick, who was playing with his hands.

"I'll be around one day to keep you safe and sound okay?" He sticks his pinky out and I laugh, linking our pinkies together.

"You better keep that promise, Rudolph." I kiss his nose and he scrunches his face up.

"What about it?"

"I'm promising the same thing to you." I smile and thank the lady who gives me a cup of water, Harry mumbling something to Gray. Gray nods and nudges him, pointing to something on his phone.

"You guys are really cute together, I'm sorry that's so weird." She laughs and I blush, Nick clearing his throat.

"We're just friends."

"Just friends don't kiss each other like you do." Harry says as the girl leaves, Gray laughing behind his menu.

"Yeah they do. It's fine." Nick shakes his head and takes a drink of his water. I sigh, taking my head off of Nick's shoulder to read the menu.

"Just friends sleep in another bed." Gray lowers his menu, scratching his cheek with his painted nails.

"Dude," Nick says, pointing to Gray's nails. "Who did your nails, those look amazing."

--

The smell of nail polish was pungent as we enter the nail salon. Gray told Nick where he went, and Nick insisted we had to go. So now, Nick was sitting in the chair next to me getting his nails painted the same color as mine. He also insisted on me picking his color as Gray laughed at him, Harry looking at all the colors.

"How does he do this? It tickles at some points but burns at other times? I don't get it." He says as his fingernails get painted more.

"Do you want a flower?" The person doing his nails asks, Nick nodding while I sigh. I was waiting for my nails to dry, so I couldn't take cute selfies or pictures of Nick. His leg was crossed over the other, his ankle resting on his knee.

"Do you know what I just realized?" Harry says while sitting next to me.

"What's that little person?"

"Nick looks like a bean."
