Chapter Four

Sam's P.O.V.

Finally. Matt left, and now I could have my chance with Jenna again. I have a feeling it's going to take a lot more than just asking her to go out with me if I really wanted her. But I had no idea what I was going to do!

When I go up to her and try to comfort her, she talks to me. I say "Are you okay?"

"Do I look okay?! I'm crying my eyes out because the love of my life just left me!"

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to upset you. I just want you to know that I'm here for you and I still like you."

"I'm bisexual! Do you know that?!?! Well, you look as if you didn't and so, I thought I would just tell you that because most people are disgusted by bisexual people. Besides, there's no way I'm going to go back out with you after you cheated on me! After I dated you, I dated a girl that also cheated on me and I'm not going back to either of you! My heart has already been hurt enough!"

The only thing I got out of that was that she's bisexual. But I don't care. I still really liked her and I would never give up on her. I walked her to her class, met her at her locker, and sat close to her at lunch. I could tell I was annoying her so finally she gave in and we were dating again.

Jenna's P.O.V.

Sam was getting on my last nerve and I knew that I liked it somehow. I told him I was bi, and he had no reaction to it. It's been 2 months Sam and I have been together. And he got to take me on my first date, with him anyway, to Olive Garden for my 16th Birthday. After we were together for that long, I noticed something wasn't right with Rachel. Although I barely talked to her now, I think it's time for me to be there for Rachel.

She and Blake split up for a little while because they were having mixed feelings for one another. I made up with Rachel when I seen her in the school bathroom crying. I felt that since she was there for me when Sam and I broke up in 6th grade, then I should be there for her too. She told me that she was having mixed feelings for Blake and me and when she told Blake about us, he got infuriated. She doesn't know why he acted the way he did and he pushed her and slapped her face after she told him. At that point, I didn't give a heck about my parents rules. I was pissed and I didn't care to say it to Blake's face. I told Rachel I was going to do something about him, but she told me to just leave it alone. She wanted to be with Blake, but he couldn't accept the person that she was.

One day, Rachel didn't come to school. She told me she was going to meet up with Blake and talk to him about something that I can't remember. I got super worried when I hadn't seen her the next day so I texted the secret word 'cherry' with a question mark at the end.

Cherry was the word I made up with her back in 8th grade when I read in a magazine that a girl's best friend got kidnapped and she was worried when she didn't get her usual morning text. And at the end of the article the girl had said. "I lost my best friend. I pray that nothing like that will ever happen to someone else in this world, but sadly it does every day. After I lost her, I made up a secret word. I'm not going to say what that secret word is, but when I don't get a text from my friends, I text them that secret word. I encourage everyone with a texting device to create a secret word."
