Okay this might suck but I'm having "One of those days" and I'm doing my resume at the same time.

Derek's POV:

I stared ahead thinking and trying to calm down. Destined mates?! I just found my baby girl and now she's going to be taken away! When mates find each other, the woman always goes with her mate's pack but-- Wait, Isaac is in my pack so she's not leaving. I mentally facepalmed myself. We arrived at my loft and we silently walked in only to see a tall figure by the window with a skull of a bear over the head. It slowly turns around and in its right hand, it had a blade that looked similar to the First Blade. I turn into my beta form and let out a huge growl as an attack warning. The figure didn't listen and started walking towards us. Zina let out a howl to notify the pack downstairs that there's a threat while I charged at the figure.

Zina's POV:

I watched in fright as my dad and the huge 6'5 figure charged at each other and started fighting. 5 minutes later, everyone arrived and started fighting with my dad. I whined loudly in my throat when I saw my dad get slashed across the chest with the blade and Isaac gets thrown through a wall harshly. I decided that I couldn't just stand back and watch, so I turned into my beta form and charged at the figure while it had it's back to me. I jumped on it's back and tried ripping its throat out but it was covered by the stupid skull. It threw me across the loft and I slammed onto the metal door. I groaned and stood up. I felt the energy start flowing in my veins and my hands glow a lavender color. I put my palms up and created an energy ball in each hand. I threw my left one first and the figure stumbled a bit but regained its balance. I threw the second one but it blocked it with the blade and charged at me.

I froze in my spot and gasped loudly when I felt the blade plunge into me deeply. He lifted me up with the blade and with one hand, he pushed me off until I was thrown against the metal door again. I fell on my stomach hard. With blurry vision, I saw him run through the wall of windows and disappear. I heard distant voices around me yelling and I slipped into the dark tunnel soon after.
