2 updates in 2 days?! Yeah, I feel that guilty. Also if you have your notifications on for my book, then you've noticed I've somewhat edited the prologue and chapter 1. It's mostly spelling and sentences making sense. It's still the same just it makes more sense to read. I'll slowly edit the rest but it might take some time since I want to complete this book first.

Onto the story!

Unknown's POV:

۝ Night of incident ۝

The shadow I sent out to watch Zina came back. "Why are you back so early? Did I not tell you to report back to me when I summoned you back?!", I demanded loudly. It hissed at me in response, "What do you mean you got caught?! You're a shadow! Shadow's can't get caught!" I groan when it tells me that it got caught by her stupid  "mate". I run my fingers through my hair and pace back and forth. 

"You may go... For now. I may summon you for further things", I wave my hand. It disappears and I sit on my bed. I put my head in my hands and let out some curse words. I decide that I can't do anything at this moment so I go to sleep.

۝ Morning ۝

Danny invited me to go shopping with him which I wanted to decline but he's my cousin and I haven't seen him in 3 months. Which is funny since we live 4 blocks away from each other. After we finish shopping at the mall we go to the grocery store since my mom needed some stuff for dinner. We were talking and putting things in the basket when we crash into a couple. I groan when the tomatoes fall to the floor. I bend down to pick them up when I hear the most amazing sound.

"Danny!", the girl squeals and hugs my cousin. "Hey Zina and Isaac", Danny enthusiastically responds back. I bend back up to see my queen with her supposed mate. I hold back my growl and grimace at the sight of him. 

"Guys I want you to meet my maternal cousin... Liam Dunbar", I smirk and wave at them.

Words: 300 words

Yeah, this is short but it's a filler on who the unknown person is.

If you don't know what maternal or paternal cousins mean then here's a little lesson:

Maternal is from the mother's side. The first letter is the giveaway - M equal mother.

Paternal is from the father's side. I think of the first letter as P equals papa or father.
