Desiree's pov.
I am so excited for this dinner, I just hope everything goes as planned. But with everything going on at the moment, I highly doubt that some shit won't pop off.
" Why you wearing that?" I asked, glancing at Ray. He's suppose to match me and wear our matching outfits.
"Oh.... I forgot." he said, kissing my cheek. I know damn well he didn't forget, he just don't wanna wear it.
"It's not too late to change." I said, smiling. I heard a knock on the door. Ray laughed.
"It is too late.." he said, smiling.
"Shut up, punk." I said, mushing him in the head playfully.
I walked downstairs and put a warm smile on my face, and opened the door. It was Arica and Chresanto. I hugged both of them and led them to the table where we would be having our drinks and snacks or whatever. The doorbell rung again. I went to the door and opened it to see Layla and Jacob L. smiling. I embraced them both in a hug and showed them where to sit. A few moments later, Craig and Jasmarie showed up right along with Jacob P. and I guess the girl named Madison. I took then into the dining room and immediately the tension in the room got thick. Chresanto eyes almost popped out of his head once he seen Jacob P. with Madison. Arica just looked shocked. I wonder what the hell going on... I saw Ray coming downstairs, I grabbed his hand and we sat down at the table.
"Hello everyone." I said, greeting everybody.
"Hey.." They all said.
I looked over at Ray and he was looking at the 'Madison' girl, like he was trying to remember some. Everybody started making 'small talk'.
"What's wrong?" I whispered to Ray.
"Nothing, just a little confused." he whispered back. I nodded my head. My chef came around the corner and handed everyone their drinks. Then she walked away..
"Let's make a toast to new beginnings." I said, holding my glass up and everyone else did the same.
"My boy..." Chresanto said, looking at Jacob P. "Tell us about your new beginning..." he said, a bit angrily, but he was hiding it with a smile.
"Let's not start this, Chresanto." Jacob P. said. I was confused just as everyone else. Chresanto and Jacob P. just stared at eachother blankly.
"Um... That was awkward, um... Layla.." I said, thinking of a question. "Are you doing okay since the incident?" I asked, getting mad all over again, finding out that bastard hit her with a lamp.
"Oh, I'm wonderful, never better." She said, smiling as Jacob L. kissed her cheek.
Jacob P. stared at Jacob L. angrily.
"Problem?" Jacob L. asked, looking at Jacob P. smiling.
"Hell yeah, I don't appreciate you with my ex." he said, angrily.
Before Jacob L. could say anything Chresanto spoke up. "I could say the same for you." Chresanto said.
"What's going on?" I asked confused.
"Well, Desiree... He's dating my ex." Jacob P. said. "I don't appreciate that, because he's suppose to be my homeboy." he said,
"Quit being a hypocrite." Chresanto said, angrily.
"How am I being a hypocrite?" Jacob P. asked, sarcastically.
"Don't try to act like you don't know.." Chresanto said, bluntly.
"Wait a minute, Madison is your baby mamma, right?" Ray asked.
"Well I thought she was ,but seems as if I've been taking care of a child that isn't even mine." he said, shrugging.
"Yeah, cause its my child." Jacob P. said, everybody mouth dropped.
"Damn, you get around don't you?" Layla asked,
"Bitch, get you some business." Madison, snapped. Oh shieeet. That's the wrong one. Layla is not the most calmest person when someone calls her out her name. Layla cocked her head to the side and stood up.
"Are you asking to get your ass whooped?" Layla, asked calmly.
"Sit down, babe." Jacob L. said, to Layla.
"Bitch, I dare you to touch me." Madison said, throwing a glass across the table. No that bitch did not just break my 30 dollar wine glass. Layla yanked Madison out her seat by her hair and start beating her in her face. Jacob P. stood up and walked towards them and yanked on Layla a little to hard. Jacob L. stood up and punched him square in the face. Dammmmn.
Ray and Craig stood up and do did Chresanto and they broke up the fight.

Once everyone got home, I began to clean up the broken glass. So much happened in one day, and I can't believe the shit that was revealed today. Madison had Chresanto taking care of a child that isn't even his. I can only imagine how heartbreaking that is for Chresanto. And to top everything off Jacob P. was cheating on Layla for a long time in order for him to be the baby's father of Madison's baby. So that means Jacob P. and Madison was messing around behind Chresanto and Layla's back... Man, that's fucked up..
