Chapter 55

Bryan sliced the masked man's neck. It was not affected. It harshly pulled out his blade out away from Kath. She coughed up some blood and fell. In time, Ken catched her. She was loosing consciousness.

"Get hold of yourself." He muttered. Kath's eyes opened. It was red. Ken shivered down to his spine. It was creepy. He just shrugged it off and put her down. "Bryan!" He yelled. Bryan looked at him, in between of his dodgings.

"What?!" He yelled back.

"Let's swap!" His eyes widen. Bryan has no other choice. He lured the enemy into Ken. He fighted it off. Alex killed all the ghouls. One by one, bloody bones lay in her way. She felt disgust.

"Ew... what a filthy disgusting creatures." She glared at the last corpse of the ghoul. "What a disgusting creatures." She said darkly.

Ken stabbed the masked man. It fell on it's knees. He kicked it on the face, causing it's mask crack. He kicked it repeatedly on the stomach. He continued beating it with no mercy. But before he could kick it, he stopped halfway. His expression was blank, and kicked hardly on the face, causing the mask breaks and his left leg cracked. His eyes widened, but he didn't showed it.

"Hey you," he said bluntly and let the man fell on the ground. His face was bleeding, pieces of it's mask was attatched into his face. He grabbed his hair and their faces are near each other. "What are you planning to do with Kathleen?" His raspy voice ringed his ears. He can hear a distorted sound. His head ached. The sound was familiar. The sound of harmonica was familiar to him. He thinked he was the only one who can hear the sound. He looked at Alex from the corner of his eye, her arms are crossed in her chest, completely annoyed, and next at Kath and Bryan. They're nothing. He looked back at his opponent. He gasped. It was rotting.

Ken's PoV

This filth. Disgusting. I just stood up and throwed it in the distance. I endured the distorted sound ringging on my ears. What's this..., I can't hear anything, even the blows of the cold wind on my ear. I just saw it in my eyes. Kath is saying something. What is it? I can't hear it.

Kath's PoV

"Ken?" He was not responding. Even though he's looking on my way but he was not responding. I wonder what's up?

"Kath?" Bryan called. I looked at him. "His eyes are blank." He said lowly.

"What?!" I jerked, but only getting a sharp pain on my stomach. Bryan tensed. I sighed. "I'm fine." I said and slowly stood. I weakly walk towards him. I shook him.

"Ken?"
