My screams echo off the walls, they ricochet like bullets back into my skull and shoot more fear into me. Much worse is my mothers snarls, which also bounce off the walls. It's unlike any animal or human noise I have ever heard, its more cruel.

“Please, Mom, no, please look at me! I am your daughter, Lexis Rose Andreessen!”

She keeps attacking, my arms are shaking and I can barley keep her teeth away from my face. The way she is snapping her jaw would easily bite the skin off my face.

“Mom, please.”

Her eyes are still blank and her jaw is still snapping. I know the answer to this. I know what I have to do.

“I’m so sorry mom, forgive me. I love you”

I knee her in the stomach and get up quickly and grab my dads old baseball bat off the shelf. The bat contacts her head. On the ground lay my mom, bleeding from the head would I gave her on the side of her brain. Charged with adrenaline and fear, I run out of the house still holding the bat.

Big mistake.

Seven more blank pairs of eyes stare at me. They immediately run at me, I dart down the street.

Another huge mistake.

Dozens of car crashes, and dozens of blank eyes monsters, eating those who died in the car crashes. So grusome, So horrid. A tiny scream escapes my mouth, I quickly cover my mouth with my hands but its too late. All eyes on me, I am fresh meat.

I raise my bat but I know the truth, there are to many, no matter where I go, they’re there.

As they run at me I swing at them, I was always good at baseball, thank god for that.

“BAM, BAM, BAM, BAM, BAM,” I’ve gotten five down, one almost bit me. There are at least fifty more, and I am already tired.

Swing. Keep swinging. Don’t miss. If you miss your dead.

A bat is obviously not enough, I’m not even killing them, just knocking them out. There are so many.

Don’t miss, please don’t miss. Keep going.

My arms are shaking violently, and I can’t feel any part of my body. Its over, there are to many, no matter where I go, they’re there.

Now they’re coming in groups, there seems to be more joining.

I can’t do it anymore. The bat drops to the floor.

“I’ll see you soon dad.”

I close my eyes.
