"Let's Try not to Puke?" - Apollo Pursues

WARNING: This chapter is pure cliche. Try your best not to cringe. I created this when I was nine. Now, please, shut up.

Apollo

"Are you crazy?!? She will never marry you!" My sister, Artemis exclaimed in surprise, "After all, she is a virgin." She said as an afterthought. I was sitting on my bed, while she paces on the floor. "No biggie, I am the most handsome God here." I reassured her, She snorted as her reply. "Why?!?" I asked. "Make that the second handsomest God." She replied, "Eros is the first handsomest God, because he is the son of Aphrodite." My jaw dropped in surprise, does she have a crush on him? She looked at me knowingly,"No! I am a VIRGIN!!" She said, then she stormed out of our room.

I don't know why, but Artemis storms out of the conversation. Her usual anger, boys.

"Hey! Apollo! It's time for dinner!" Athena's voice rang out, I opened the door and Athena face popped up. She was wearing a royal blue chiton, she was also wearing a belt, also golden sandals and golden bracelets. "Hey"I said, trying to flirt with Athena. Instead of smiling, she slapped me in the face while frowning. Athena is immune to boys' charms, she can also kill men who tried to flirt with her. "Better not flirt with me, or else!" She threatened, "Oh! It's fancy Friday, you better wear your best." She remembered, then she left.

Friday, named after Aphrodite. Aphrodite made it a tradition that every Friday. They will wear their best in dinners because it will be so delicious.

I wore my best clothes with a golden belt. I also tried making it very, very irresistible. I removed the wrinkles, holes, dirt, blood and etc.. I'm sure that Athena will love it. Also, a book as a gift.

Aphrodite told the Olympians(which includes me) give your crush your gift. The virgins didn't bring gifts. Obviously, they are Virgins. Girls who do not marry, date, flirt, and all those love stuff. Guys can give the virgins their gifts, unfortunately. I once pursued Hestia. Hestia? Also immune to charm.

Athena

Dinner was scrumptious. Which is gift-giving time! I hope that no one will give me something pretty bad, though. I looked  around the room but my thoughts were snapped when two particular gods, Poseidon and Apollo came. "Here is you gift Athena!" Two voices said, it was Apollo and Poseidon. Then, they glared at each other. Those two idiots have been pursuing me since they've met me. "A book!" I exclaimed, it was from Apollo. "A telescope!" I gasped, it was from Poseidon, it was the best gift I ever received!

Apollo

Didn't she like my gift?!? It looked as if she liked Poseidon's gift more that my gift. I have to thing something fast, quick!My thoughts were snapped when someone talked to me. "Apollo.....uh.....dinner's done.." A familiar voice said, I looked behind me and saw Hestia.

I raced to my room and sat on my bed. Artemis was already sleeping on her bed. I quickly change my clothes and slept.

Athena

"Wait. Is that-? Yes! It is Jupiter!" I exclaimed, looking at the telescope.
"Mercury!"
"Venus!"
"Mars!" I exclaimed at the planets named after my brothers and sisters. Best gift ever!

Apollo
"Wake up!" Artemis yelled, she was shaking me like a blender. "What?" I grumpily asked, "Hello? Are you crazy? We are planting trees!" She shouted, I covered myself with my blanket. Artemis doesn't easily give up. She pushed my bed to the wall, smashing me in the process. I can't stand her stupidity. I went out of bed and changed my clothes. I also took the saplings I gathered before.

We walked to a big clearing in a forest. On the way, Artemis scolded me for being late. "Why did you slept late?!? If you didn't slept that late you should have already woken one hour before!" She scolded, I said nothing. Artemis can be a nightmare if you answer her. "Anyways, let's go to the clearing."

I walked around the gods. Zeus and Hera arguing about which tree to plant, Ares holding a batch of saplings and Aphrodite holding seeds, and Athena and Poseidon talking about which tree to plant.

I eavesdropped at Athena and Poseidon's conversation, "How about a coconut tree?" Poseidon asked, "I think we should plant an olive tree." Athena replied,
"A Mango Tree?"
"No."
"Rainbow Tree?" Poseidon asked, Athena then, launched a lecture that there is no such thing as a rainbow tree.

After listening at the conversation. I was tackled by Artemis. "What are you doing?!? Eavesdropping?!? C'mon! We have to plant trees, right here and right now!" Artemis said in a voice as loud as a drum. The others looked at us. I blushed, this usually happens. I'm not used to it, but Artemis? Too brave to notice. "Uh...er..um.. Okay....Sis" I stammered, I started to plant an olive, then a mango, then a coconut tree. Athena was now frowning at me. She has the look that says, "You are caught."

After the short unexpected program, we went home. On the trip home, Artemis launched a million of complaints about me. "Why does he have to pursue her?"
"He even gave the forest book to her!"
"Little Brother and my younger twin!"
"Stupid, little Brother!" She complained all about those things, I only shut my mouth. I am really stupid!

A few days later....
I saw Athena in the forest. I crept towards her, she looked surprised but, her temper is fearsome. "Hey!" I said flirtatiously. She silently got mad and summoned her spear and hit my head. "Want more?" She threatened, the clouds turned stormy as she said those. I slowly backed away, and ran. Then, the weather turned good. There go's my chance.

A week later that incident, we went camping. Luckily, Athena and I were partners at collecting the firewood. "You shouldn't push any buttons, so we're going to do this the old fashion way." She said, she probably remembered the time I serenaded her and I ended up as a punching bag for Artemis.

A few minutes later, Athena already had a stack of firewood, I got only a piece of firewood.

We walked towards the camp until nighttime. Athena was already tired. We decided to stay on the forest. Athena immediately fall asleep. I fell asleep a few minutes later on Athena.

Athena

A dream of a million books is a dream! Of course it's a dream! Wait. Who's on me?

I woke up on Apollo's lap. Weird, when I saw him grinning. I realized what happened. I screamed so loud that the trees around me shook.

I summoned my spear. Then, I began pummeling him. While he whimpered, cried and began to shout some curses. The weather began to turn bad. As I pointed my spear towards him, thunder sounded behind me. Then he ran away.

Looks like Pothena is staying! We won't see Apollo pursuing Athena again!
