Chapter 11- Where's Kevin????

Mallory's POV

We didnt get a call from Kevin after the "meeting" so we figured that we'd get to work. We exchanged numbers at the meeting so I rang Zak up and told him to meet me at the park

We were at the park and he was acting pretty mean. I didnt say anything cuz, i kinda knew why he was like that. He knows he doesnt have a chance with Vanessa but he's still here to help her.

Every question I asked he'd answer very rudely. At one point I just sat down and let him do his job. I got a weird gut feeling it was unlike Kevin to just leave us like that. He definitely would have called to check up on us. Or tell us what was going on.

"Mallory??", 

"Vanessa? What are you doing here?"

" I was looking for K---", Her eyes wandered off somewhere else..."Zak?"

"Vanessa.."

"Mal whats going on??"

"We'll talk about that later. Where's Kevin?"
She sighed and tried to calm down. It was alot for her. Seeing Zak again. Add on that Kev's not with her.

"Nessa!"
She snapped out of the trance she was in, "Kev, Hasnt been home for a day. I thought he was with the guys but they said he wasnt with them...", She looked back  at Zak who now got off the ladder he was on and stood there frozen staring at the girl he once, or still loved... 

I wanted to tell her. But I wanted to make sure that Kev actually.. wasnt here

"Try calling him again", I said reassuringly

"kay", She took her phone out and dialed his number. 

We jumped out of our skins when we heard... A phone ringing.

"Oh my God..", Vanessa started freaking out. She ran to where the sound was coming from and found his phone.

She picked it up and cried, "CALL THE POLICE!"

"Nessa calm down", Zak tried calming her down
"WHATS GOING ON!"

I dialed the police and saw Zak trying to keep Vanessa from doing anything stupid

"Look Ness. The stalker you had. Was Kevin's ex Danielle, The reason Mallory and I am here is cuz Kevin wanted us to help in keeping you safe from her."

"Danielle?? She has Kevin! Oh my God....", She broke down into Zak's arms and cried

The police came over into the park, they found out that Kevin must have been drugged so they got these dogs to trace where they could be. The drug used on him was common and easy to trace but still we were worried.

It had been almost a day since he got.. kidnapped. So anything can happen. Zak was comforting Vanessa the whole time. But this was indeed scary. It got to me and I started crying too. I tried hiding it when I saw the guys from BSB come in, Vanessa went over to meet them and I just turned away hoping no one would see me crying. Zak came over to me and assured me that everything would be fine. I dont know why but I took his word for it... 

Vanessa asked the police for something. That I admit was smart. She asked for Kevin's phone and wanted to call the last person in his call log.

Once they did there was no answer but enough evidence to possibly trace out the are where they could be
