Chapter 28

Kevin's POV

I was pissed over the fact that Ness called me back home from my hangout with Zak the other night. I need space. I need to go out and be with my friends. I was locked in a hotel with my crazy ex for a week for God's sake!!!

But when she left without telling me I was downright angy.

I hear the door open and I dart to it from the living room

"Where were you?"

"Out"
I roll my eyes at her, "You didnt tell me"

"Im not a 16 year old"
"well neither am I, Ness. Why do I get a curfew then?"

"I dunno maybe cuz you were kidnapped? and I was just getting groceries"

"Well you were the one getting stalked and as the to be husband I should be getting the groceries"

"Not necessarily", she walks right by me

I wasnt done yet. Danielle or anyone else could have hurt her. Even though Danielle was in prison there were around 7 billion other people who could have done something to her... 

Other than that she gets to go outside and I dont? What the hell?

I walk into the kitchen and throw both of my hands face down on the table, "I want the curfew removed and I want you to stop checking up on me every 5 minutes"

She doesnt even flinch,"I cant do that Kev. You need to be safe"

"And your solution is to keep me locked up here?"

"Kind of yeah", she says sarcastically,"Kev Im trying to protect you okay. I'm worried about you!! What if other lunatics like her get you again?! She's obviously not gonna back off that easy"

"Exactly!!! Now you know how I felt when you went out without telling me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Calm down Kevin!!"

"NO! I wont!! Stop treating me like a f*cking kid!!!"

With that I go upstairs, get my jacket and head outside.

I keep walking and am surprised at the fact that she hasnt followed me yet. Maybe this did work.
