''Sherrie!'' I heard a dim voice calling my name from downstairs. I have been home alone for hours my parents are out getting stuff for our new house that we just moved into and my little brother was next door playing with the neighbor kids that is around the same age as him. So when I first heard the voice calling my name I thought I was hearing things, Than I heard it again, and I knew I'm not imagining it because this time it was more louder and pitcher. I quickly put my music on pause and jumped off my bed and onto my feet ''What?'' I answered as if the voice already asked a question and didn't understand what it said "Can you come here, please?" I was surprised I could hear the voice so clear this time and I quickly responded "mom?" there was no answer. I took a deep breath and glanced at myself in my bedroom mirror, and I realized that it was 4pm and it looked like I was already ready for bed, but in reality I didn't even bother getting dress today I knew I wasn't going anywheres today there's nothing to see, nothing to do in this boring little town I hated it I'm use to the city where there is always something interesting going on.

I looked at my door frame took another deep breath, tied my long blonde hair up into a messy bun, and I slowly walked out of my room and into the hallway. I walked past a plant the desperately needed to be watered leaning on the wall. Next it was my brother room I walked past the wide open door for anyone to see how gross and messy it is, it was filled with clothes, toys, and crumbs of food. I saw a hand writing sign on the bedroom door it read "No Girls Allowed", "wow my brother is so original" I thought to myself. Than I found myself at the top of the stairs about to go down I was going as quietly as possible to be going down the stairs in a 90 year old Victorian house.

As I was walking down the last few steaps, I saw a women standing in the family room filled with moving boxes she was turned around facing the big open windows the curtains were blowing around from the wind outside. I didn't recognized the women I didn't recognize her body shape, her hair style, or even perfume. ''Hello?" I said the word longer than it really was the women turned around and smiled at me I could tell shes a smoker and a coffee drinker by the stains on her teeth. She had short gray hair and was wearing a dress to her knees and than you could see the start of her knee stockings that went down and covered her feet and under her open toed shoes squished on her feet. She finally spoke with cheer in her voice "Hi I'm Marilyn! I live right next door I'm Keegan and Tyler grandmother" "Oh hi" I said "Is my brother Lewis behaving well?" "OH yes hes darling! Lewis told me your parents are out for the evening so I thought I would make him dinner is that alright?." I stared at the smiling women for a few seconds as if she spoke some kind of Allien language and than it clicked in of what she said "Sure I wasn't going to make anything anyway but just to let you know Lewis is allergic to peanuts." Marilyn looked around the room and started to walk out the door as if she already knew I was going to say yes. ''Okay great" Marilyn said as she was walking out "see you later" "bye" I answered back.

For some reason I had a sick feeling at the bottom of my stomach about that women but whats the wrose a old lady can do? force feed my brother peanut butter?

So that's what I thought...
