I woke up sweating bullets, oh my gosh! where am I? I sat up and looked around, I was in my room and my cat Tibby was sleeping comfortabley next to me, "what happened?" I whispered I turned and saw my mom sitting on a chair next to my bed, "Sweetie, you fainted" "Huh, when? what about the accident? " I asked mom looked at me with a worried face, I sorta liked we were having a normal conversation "Sherrie, you fainted when you got home from school today and heard that the police found a boy's body, they found it in the woods by the backyard." I grabbed my forehead I was confused I hoped it wasn't a reaction from the cigarette I smoked earlier. "So, my date with Keaton never happened?" "Wow sweetie, you must of been having a very vivid dream, who's Keaton? " she smiled "Just a boy" I blushed and than i realized something my mom mentioned "Wait, the police found a body in the woods?" my mom took a deep breath "Yeah, a boy who's nine or ten" My jaw dropped "But its not Lewis!" she said quickly, the DNA testing said its some boy name Zackery Green" "wow" I said "How long have the body been there?" I asked "Only a week!" Mom answered "The police cant seem to contact the parents, but there still trying" Well if somebody found Lewis's body I'd like to know" I whispered and than realized what I said "No, I mean!" I quickly started but it was to late mom was already in tears "mom I didn't mean it!", mom whipped some tears "No your right, your looking at the reality of things" I started to cry to "No mom im not looking at the reality im looking at the possibility, because there always could be the possibility." I got up and gave my mom a hug "Mom" I said "Do you remember the last time we went to the beach?" Mom looked at me "Of course, it was right before we moved here" she looked at me "well" I answered "I think about that all the time, its my favorite memory of Lewis." I sat down on my bed facing the chair my mother was sitting at, my mom started to laugh, "your brother got so burnt" and I smiled at the memory.

"Lewis get over here, you need sunscreen!" Dad yelled at Lewis who were already in the beach water with his snorkel and goggles. "Kevin Let him be, he'll learn his lesson for next time" mom joked, dad rolled his eyes "Michelle, your not a red head, you'll never understand the important of sunscreen for us red heads, right Sherrie?" dad looked at me as I was laying my beach trowel onto the sand "what? dont look at me im not a ginger" I said, dad rolled his eyes "great, the one time I could win a argument, my backup isnt here" mom laughed "Farrah would of agreed with me anyway, so dont even try!" I layed in the sun for a little while and I decided to grab a ball and go in the water with Lewis, "Lewis!" I yelled as I was getting into the water, Lewis poked up his head up from the water with his goggles and snorkel on his face "what?" he sounded annoyed, he must of thought I was gonna try and convince him to put on sunscreen, "Do you want to play ball?" I asked Lewis smiled, for the rest of the day Lewis and I played in the water and on the beach, mom called for us to get something to eat, I sat in the sand next to my brother, mom put her book that she's been reading aside and dad served us the food he barbequed on the portable grill, "Yum" Lewis said, I scoffed because my father knew I was trying to be a vegetarian at the time, and he noticed "At least its not a sand-wich" he joked Lewis started to laugh and I rolled my eyes with a smirk because I knew I would never be able to last as a vegetarian anyways and took a big bite out of my hamburger. For the rest of the night Lewis and I attempted making a sandcastle and when we failed we went back in the water and dad joined us, afterwards, the four of us went for a walk as the sun went down and from a distance we saw fireworks.

"Actually, I think it's my favorite memory, period, especially because Farrah wasn't there" I tried to joke but my throught was still choked up in tears, it sounded like I was serious. "Sherrie, don't start dear" mom barked, I didn't say anything else, till mom started "one of my favorite memory's were when you kids were younger I think Farrah was your age so you must of been 9 and lewis was 5, it was Christmas eve.

"The house was decorated with Christmas itams, I wanted it to be a special Christmas. We were all gathered around the table making a gingerbread house, and your dad was getting frustrated with you because you picked up the word ginger from school, and you thought it was people with red hair and they have no soul or something," I laughed "I still believe it to!" mom continued "Farrah kept singing amazing grace because she sang it at her Christmas concert just the night before, and I was trying to make sure Lewis wouldn't eat all the gingerbread." she smiled "Its the little things that makes a good memory" mom looked at me and told me.

Right than we heard the doorbell rang, mom looked at me "it must be the police officer to see if your awake, he wants to show you a picture of Zachary Green to see if you know him from anywheres." I nodded my head and got up, I threw on the same sweater I was wearing the night Lewis went missing and headed downstairs, as I was walking I looked towards Lewis's room and saw his door was shut, it made the hallway look cleaner, even the plant that was leaning on the wall that needed to be watered, was watered. Mom was walking next to me "have you seen the picture yet?" I asked "yes, I didn't recognize the boy, The police checked and he don't go to Lewis's school." "That's weird" I thought "this town is small, it only got one elementary, middle, and high school, if hes Lewis's age they would go to the same school." I started to get worried.

"Ms Collins" The police officer said to me as I was walking down the stairs, he was standing in the foray with my dad. "Officer Ian" I responded politely, "did you have a good nap?" he asked, Officer Ian was an older police officer, I heard that he had joined the force when he was only sixteen years old, so hes been a officer for fifty years. He had a big belly and a big grey mustache that went down the sides of his mouth. Hes a nice old man. "she had a vivid dream" mom answered for me. "that happens when people faint, they get vivd dreams sometimes, some say when you die in a vivid dream you die for real you know." "thats good to know" I answered. "anyways, do you mind checking these pictures to see if they ring a bell, Sherrie?" Ian asked. I took the pictures from his hands. "Do you guys need to sit down?" my father asked "No it's fine Kevin, thanks, this won't take very long." Ian stated. I looked at the pictures long and hard, "his name is Zachary Green?" I asked, the officer nodded his head. My eyes wided, "This boy name is Tyler!" I raised my voice "He was one of the two boys that was playing with Lewis! The Marilyn lady is his grandmother!" "Oh my Gosh" my mother said dramatically, "are you sure?" Ian asked "Im positive" I told him. Ian grabbed the pictures, mumbled something into his wacky tacky than asked if I could come to the police station, I obviously said yes, we headed towards the police car, "Were coming too!" Dad yelled out to us, "Michelle and I will meet you guys there, ok Sherrie." I nodded and so did Ian. I was about to open the back door of the police car, "woah" Ian said and I looked at him "Criminal's sit in the back, your a hero, you sit in the front!" I smiled and sat in the front. I was proud that I helped make us finally one step closer to finding my brother.
