Emma shifted uncomfortably. Her mate, the gorgeous girl she had rejected, sat inches away from her. She caught a glimpse of a smirk from Jodelle and knew she could sense her nervousness. This embarrassed Emma. She quickly popped another spoonful of oatmeal in her mouth and looked around, anywhere but at Jodelle.

"So Emma. How old are you?" Jodelle turned to her. Crap. Emma cringed.

"I-I'm eighteen." She stuttered as she found herself lost in the sea green pools of Jodelle's eyes.

"I'm sixteen." Jodelle smiled. Emma didn't know what to say or what to do next and so she just nodded and continued eating. So I'm older than her... By two years. She thought to herself as she ate. Jodelle suppressed a smile and took another bite of her delicious pancakes, then turned back to Emma.

"Tell me about yourself. Favorite color... Favorite band... Favorite food...Something along those lines?" Her eyes flashed in false sincerity. She wanted to torture Emma, and she knew this would do it.

"Erm... Pink, Ariana Grande, and blueberry muffins." She murmured without eye contact.

"Oh. I like pink too! I like pizza, and I'm my favorite artist, not to be self centered." This caught Emma's attention.

"You sing?"

"No... But I'm a DJ in Vegas-" Jodelle was cut off.

"Yeah! And she's pretty damn good at it! You should hear her music!" Jason said excitedly.

"Oh?" Emma looked over at Jason.

"Yeah! You should see her at the raves!"

"Hmm... I'd um... Like to hear it." She muttered. Yes, she wanted to stay as far away from Jodelle as possible although she was interested. Her wolf spun around excitedly at the thought of spending time with their mate. No. It'll just be a casual thing. Nothing special AT ALL. Though her wolf disagreed. I can't let my wolf get the best of  me. She knew she would never be alpha with an Omega as a mate. Her father would disapprove. Nichole would become Alpha. That would be bad or even harmful to her pack.

"Cool!" Jodelle felt victorious. Maybe I can get her to like me after all. "What songs do you want?"

"Um... Problem by Ariana... And Worth It by Fifth Harmony." She decided.

"Ooh. That sounds tricky but for you anything." Jodelle winked.

Oh no! She'll blow it! Emma glared daggers at Jodelle, and her mates expression turned from happy to heartbroken in seconds.

"Emma." Alpha Dean cleared his throat and spoke up. "Alpha Mason has agreed to join our packs. To step down from his place as Alpha so that he may stay with his mate in the Starlight pack."

The guests at the table gasped, Jason choked on his food, and Emma's eyes widened. I'll someday become Alpha of both packs?! She realized, then thought, If I'm able to ignore Jodelle.

"Sunblaze and Blue Moon?!" Jason coughed.

"Yes, we will merge the packs. There will only be Blue Moon now."

"But I like our name! I like Sun Blaze!" Jodelle stood up.

"Omega-" Alpha Mason began.

"Will we have to move here too?!" Jodelle growled. "I love Vegas!"

"I bet you do. It's your home and Sun Blaze has always been your identity, though things change. Your pack will transfer to Beverly Hills and leave Vegas. You're Blue Moon members now."
