I Think I Like You.

I woke up and walked downstairs. Same old pattern as always. There was a note on the table from my mom;

Andrea-

I had an appointment today at 7:30 and then I'm Taking Chris downtown for a tournament. I'll be home around 9 tonight. Call if you need anything. Love~ Mom.

I walked to the cabinet and pulled out some cereal. I woke up semi early today, I remember I have plans with Harry at 11, so I have exactly two hours to get stuff done. I grabbed a large white t shirt that one belonged to Harry and a pair of fuzzy slippers. If I'm home alone, I'm going to have some fun.

I showered and pulled my hair into a messy bun and pulled on Harry's shirt that went down to my mid thigh. I grabbed my stereo and turned on Kiss FM, and jammed out to Call Me Maybe. I grabbed my toothbrush and starting singing along.

I probably look like a maniac, flipping me hair, air guitar, the sprinkler. I had my toothbrush sticking out of the side of my mouth and my hairbrush in my hand. The boy's song, What Makes You Beautiful came on and I totally geeked. I was so excited for the day ahead of me.

I slid down my hallway with my slippers and laughed at myself. Boy, was I having a blast or what?

Time must have slipped away because I glanced at the clock and it was already 9:45. I already put my make up on and I was going to keep my hair natural today. I kept dancing around and I had no feeling in my body to get dressed or ready. I continued my air guitar and hair flipping.

All of a sudden I saw Harry standing in the door frame smirking. I leaned against the door and totally missed but stood back up and tried acting cool.

"Oh hey Harry, Didn't see you there"

Harry laughed, "Nice moves Andy."

He looked really good today. He was wearing a white shirt and a blue overcoat with khaki pants. He smelt like one of those classy men shops, which I didn't have a problem with at all.

"Hold on." I said as I ran to my room and pulled on a tank top from Charlotte Rousse and a pair of white shorts.

"Okay ready!" I said as I tugged my boots up and stumbled up to Harry.

He laughed, "Okay, so I have many surprises for you."

I rolled my eyes and sighed. "I hate surprises."

"I know." He grabbed my hand and dragged e outside to his car. I slid into the passengers seat and he closed the door behind him. Gentleman. As he got inside and started the car, I asked him, "Can I have a hint?"

His dimples poked through his cheeks, "something you won't like at first."

I looked at him and raised an eyebrow. "huh?"

He shook his head and laughed.

As we reached the "secret place" I started to notice what it was; but it left me another question. Why were we here? We pulled into an empty parking area and I saw paparazzi. I looked at Harry worriedly and he handed me sunglasses and a hoodie, I put them on and he out a beanie and sunglasses on. The beanie really made no difference. His wispy brown curls fell outside the corners of the hat.

We made it inside quite swiftly and I clutched my hands together. Why were we in Harry's recording studio? Did he write me a song, was I the first one to hear a new One Direction song, was he just going to show me around?

Harry greeted the overly happy woman at the front desk and she handed him a key. He nodded and she grabbed my hand and whispered, "So you're the famous Andrea?" I chuckled and looked down. What did she just say? Does Harry really talk about me that much?

We reached the door and Harry unlocked it. He handed me the lyrics to a song that I never heard before.

"Sing." he commanded.

I laughed nervously, "Excuse me?"

He raised his eyebrows and pointed to the recording room door. He sat down at the panel of buttons. I stood next to him in complete shock.

"Go." He said.

"Harry-" I  began but he shortly interrupted me.

"Andy, I've heard you sing, and I want you to put your own twist on a song. Make it acoustic and brilliant. You're good. I think you have potential."

I gulped back. I never been nervous to do anything in front of Harry. Butterflies fluttered their wings in my stomach. I took a deep breath and nodded.

He handed me a headset and I opened the door. His voice filled my ears as he talked through the other set.

"Get comfortable. It's just me in here. No one else."

For some reason that made me 10x even more "nervous"

"tell me when you're ready."

I nodded and took another breath. I mean it's just Harry. International singer Harry. I clenched the sides of the hoodie he gave me.

"Okay. I'm ready."

The acoustic guitar chimed in and I waited for my cue.

Then I started singing.

I looked down at the lyrics and then the chorus came. I was petrified to look up at Harry. I mean, what if I sounded like I was dying? I beat my intuition aand saw Harry staring with his lips parted. I immediatly stopped and covered my face.

"I'm sorry!" I blurted out.

"NO! Keep going!" He mouthed.

And I did what he said.

When I finished, I gulped again and slowly opened the door. As soon as I closed it Harry ran up to me and hugged me. "I told you you were amazing." He talked into my hair.

"Thank Hazz." I laughed.

He looked down at my lips and the room fell silent.

"W-well. We should- uh. Go get lunch now." He stuttered as he turned around quickly and erased what almost just happened out of his brain.

I nodded. Was Harry about to... No. No. NO. He wasn't. Harry and I are friends.

~

We pulled up to a small restaurant on the outskirts of town. Harry seemed to forget about the little incident we almost had. But I sure hadn't. I don't understand why I keep thinking about that almost kiss. I mean, do i like Harry?.... No. Never, the "too good of friends rule". But those eyes, and curls, and the-the deep, raspy, voice... Stop. Andrea Rae Fisher, quit it. NOW.

Harry must of noticed I was spaced but honestly, who doesn't get spaced when he talks? He snapped his fingers in front of my face and I jumped a bit. "Yeah, yeah. Sorry." I took a deep breath and Harry continued to tell me how good I sounded.

Dinner went by relatively fast. I was happy even though as much as I wanted to stay with Harry, I couldn't wait to leave him. I needed to think things through. Accept my feelings and eventually open up about it. The car ride home was silent and my stomach seemed to hatch more butterflies as we became closer and closer to home. We finally pulled into my drive way.

"Thanks Harry. Tonight was amazing." I said with a grin.

He looked down then he leaned in. I was in panic mode. I was willing to let Harry kiss me. I needed him to so I could make my final decision. But as his lips touched my forehead, disappointment filled my veins.

"I'll see you tomorrow." Harry said slowly.

I nodded and walked inside.

I think I'm in love with Harry Styles.
