Two weeks had passed and Harry and I barely talked. He's been really busy lately, and I just started working at the Coffee shop. I mean, we still send an occasional text every couple times a day; but it's certainly not the same. I missed him and whenever he had off, I had to work. When I was off, he either had to record, or autograph signing. Then, by the end of the night we were both to tired to even call. It was starting to get harder and harder as One direction grew. Harry even said so himself.
I woke up early next morning to go to work. I pulled on a blue crop top and black high waisted shorts. One thing about my job was that we didn't have to wear a uniform. I fishtailed my hair and walked outside to find that it was raining. Fabulous. This was one of those times that I wished I had my license. I pulled out my Iphone and dialed Harry's number.
Hello?
Hey Harry, do you think you could drive me to work? I already knew the answer was no because all the screaming girls in the back ground.
I'm sorry Andy... I can send someone!
Sure... I rather walk then drive with one of Harry's judgmental friends. Actually, no thanks Harry, I'll walk.
Andy-
I clicked end and started walking. I crossed my arms and half jogged/walked to the coffee shop. Walking distance it was about 15 minutes away and I was already soaked.
I wasn't mad at Harry, I was just upset I guess? I mean- when he wasn't famous we'd always carpool and have time to spend with each other. Now every million girl comes before me. I felt tears prick my eyes and I let them fall. No one would notice because it was raining.
After what seemed like forever, I finally reached the coffee shop. I stepped inside and Amanda (the other employee) glared at me, "You're late Fisher."
'Well, if you hadn't noticed, I had to walk." I shot back. She rolled her eyes and left shortly after. usually there's two employees at a time. My shift was usually Amanda and me but recently she been leaving to see her boyfriend. So, I had to stay here with Travie who sat in the back and slept the whole time. Honestly, I didn't really mind though. It was nice to just have alone time. Not a lot of people came, since it's in the quieter part of town. The people who do come are the cute little college couples.
I made myself a small french vanilla cappuccino and waited. The bell on the door rang and I looked up. It was a elderly couple. I smiled, "How may I help you?"
"Can I have a hot chocolate, please?" The Lady asked as he tugged at the mans sleeve.
"And can I have a regular with a shot of espresso?"
I nodded and started making them while the couple chose a table to sit at. I finished momentarily and watched them sit down and talk. This is why I love my job. Evryone's always so nice and polite. But my mind kept wondering back to Harry. I like him, a lot and in reality, there's nothing I can really do about it. I mean, I could always tell him, but that's too many risks that I don't want to take.
The old couple shortly finished and as the day went by we only had 4 costumers. I got $30 dollars in tips though, because they were all old and thought I was adorable or something. I switched the sign to closed and started cleaning up. After about 10 minutes I called to Travie, "CLOSING TIME. GO HOME." I heard shuffling and keys and I walked out. It was still raining pretty hard so I decided to call my mom.
Hey, I was wondering if you could pick me up from work?
Actually, sweetheart I can't. I have someone here who would like to meet you...
I hung up on her. What the hell does she think she's doing? Since when is someone more important to her than me? It's lightning out and I have to bloody walk home in this!? I decided to run most the way and made it back momentarily. I stormed in the house all drenched. Chris sat uncomfortably at the table while my mother draped over some guy in a tux. Her hair was up and she was wearing a skimpy dress. The man sipped on white champange.
I cleared my voice.
"Chris can you help me find something in my room?"
He nodded and shot up almost immediatly. As we walked up stairs and into my room my anger grew more.
"Who the fuck is in our house?!"
He stepped back in fear. "Mom's boyfriend..."
"Since when did this happen? What about dad?" My voice came to a whipser.
Chris' eyes began to well up.
I took him in my arms and hugged him. "Are you still sick?"
He looked at me confused. "I'm not sick...?"
"Mom said she took you to the doctors..." I said with the same tone of confusion.
"No...?" I had enough. She lied to me?!
"Chris go downstairs. OI'll be done in a few." He nodded and slowly walked out of my room.
I grabbed a suitcase and started packing. I had no idea what I was doing or going, but I didn't care. I cannot believe she went behind my back and lied to me. I packed as much as I could fit. I eventually filled to suitcases with all my clothes, makeup, hair supplies, money, my phone charger. Then I went into Chris' room and did the same. I carried the stuff downstairs and I lost it.
"I cannot beleive you. You went behind my back, lied to me, and betrayed dad!?" I shouted as my voice cracked.
My mom rolled her eyes. "Daddy's dead, sweetie. Don't you want mommy to be happy?" She was drunk.
"Chris come on. We're leaving." I narrowed my eyes at my mother.
Chris stood there.
"CHRISTOPHER, COME ON." I shouted at him.
The man watched in amussment.
Chris shook his head no slowly and I kicked over his suitcases.
"Fine." I strugged. "Bye, everyone."
Then I left. I didn't know where to go. Harry's mom would try to talk me into liking the idea, Niall lived in Ireland, Zayn and I weren't really close. Liam would tell me how much of a bad idea it was. Louis. Louis could make me laugh. I could stay with him. I hitched a bus to London and shortly found Louis house. I knocked and waited for him to answer. Please be home. Please be home.
He opened the door and asked, "Andy, love, what are you doing here?"
I opened my mouth but then I saw; all the guys were here. I tried talking but it felt like my throat closed, then I lost in again. I had a total breakdown infront of everyone. I covered my face, but it was raining so it really made no difference.
~
"and then Ieft." I finsihed and took a deep breath. Louis and the boys brought me inside, I took a shower, got into my pjs, they made me tea, and gave me a blanket. I finally build up and told them what happened and the all sat there intently and listened. Honestly, it felt good. Harry sat next to me and wrapped his arms around me. "It's okay." He whispered.
"I guess you're stuck with us, than." Louis smiled and rubbed his hands together. "teh boys are staying here for a while so I guess you're stuck with all of us."
I smiled. "I guess so."
Then Liam spoke up. Out of no where he patted my back. "Andy, I think it's time to tell Harry."
Niall nodded and I sighed.
Maybe it'll feel better off my chest, if I tell him many things can go wrong, but many things can also go right. I stood up and took Harry's hand.
"Harry, we need to talk."
