It was the fifth day of June and Leah and Jackson decided to take a trip to the mountains. Her grandparents had a nice furnished cabin up there so they planned to stay for the weekend. As they drove on a back road trail (they wanted to make the most out of the trip together), they sang along to their favorite tunes. Leah was belting Carry On Wayward Son when all of sudden Jackson turned the volume all the way down.

"CARRY ON MY WAYWAR- what?, Jack! That's my FAVORITE"

He squeezed her hand tightly, slowly interlocking their fingers then brushing his pointer finger against hers. He slowly pulled over on the side of the road. Leah didn't question his judgement, Jackson was a crazy romantic. He parked the car and looked straight in her soul. He opened his mouth, then closed it, then opened again and almost muttered a word. "Oh shut up", Leah said. She nearly leaped across the console to kiss him. They had a nice little sesh , then got back on the road.

"Normally I wouldn't question you but, um, what WAS that?"

"What was what baby?"

"You know...the whole pulling over"

" Why am I getting the interrogation, you were the one who pounced"

Leah scoffed then pouted,

"Well you were the one being cute".

"What was that?" he held his hand up near his ear.

He pulled into the drive and parked the car. She took her seatbelt off and opened her door to get out. Jackson grabbed her by the hand and pulled her back in. "What. was.that?" he smiled through his teeth. Leah smiled sarcastically back at him. "I said...." moving closer "at least" placing her hand on his upper thigh "I wasn't" his eyes closing slowly "the one" and then she booked it out of the car to the grassy backyard. Jackson was a few seconds behind her as she kept running. She felt arms around her waist and then she was on the ground laughing uncontrollably. When she finally caught her breath she looked up to see Jackson resting one elbow above her. He was picking at a flower, then his eyes got serious. "You know you're wrong right?"

Leah scrunched her face in confusion and Jackson held out a hand to help her up. They stood and he turned her to hold her in his arms and look out to the sunset. He swayed her and kissed her temple. "You are the one Leah Brown".

She felt him step back and she turned slowly back around to find him kneeled on the ground with one knee square to prop his arm upon to hold the velvet black box with the diamond ring inside.

She gasped, "Jack, I-"

" Leah Marie Brown will you marry me?"

With her hands covering her gaping mouth and her eyes watering, she nodded.

His eyebrows raised "yes?". She nodded again, "yes, yes!" he rose up and picked her up "a million times yes!" she said as he spun her around. They kissed and he carried her (ironically enough) bridal style to the door. He set her down and she placed her hand on her head.

"you ok?"

"yeah, Just over excited I guess"

"you sure?"

"I think you spun me a little too fast, I need to sit"

Leah moved toward the couch but didn't quite make it because she blacked out, luckily Jackson was there to catch her. But the real question was would there be anyone to catch Jackson?
