"Hello?"
"Dom, it's me."
"Mia, I told you not to call me here-"
"Dom, it's Letty...she's been murdered..."
At the Funeral-
Tears were shead by Mia Teretto and Tina Monterello. The two women hug each other close and stare down at the gravestone. Tina breaks the connection between her and her friend. she kneels down to her sister's stone and lays a rose in front of it. She sobs, kisses her three fingers, and pressing it against Letty's name carved on the gravestone. She couldn't help but think she was being watched. She looks to her left and notices two undercover cop cars in the parking lot near the cemetry. And a familiar man in a tux looking back at her. She holds her breath and then lets it out, trying to keep her calm. She stands back up and slowly walking towards her old friend, while Mia is still glued on the grave. She walks to the man and leans against the car next to him and crossing her arms.
"What are you doing here?" she snapped.
Brian says nothing besides staring at Mia, who also laid a flower on Letty's grave.
"I'm sorry for your loss." he replied, avoiding Tina's gaze.
"And im sorry for yours."
Brian finally looks down at her. Her dark hair and eyes make you think she kind of does look like her sister. Brian sifts.
"I dont know what your saying."
Tina growls. "I know Letty was working for you, O'Connor. I know she was doing a job during her death. I know she's a cop."
Brian smirks. "Well, seems to me that you know a lot then you should."
"There's nothing i dont know about my sister." she replied.
"Now that's something your wrong about." Brian sounds more stern now. "But let's not discuss that here. Should we talk in the car? Maybe over lunch?"
Tina doesnt reply. She stares back at Mia kneeling down in front of what's left of Letty, crying. Tina's eyes start to water as she looks back up at Brian and slowly nods, trying not to choke.
"Let's get out of here." her voice cracked.
Brian nods and opens the back door for her. Tina steps in and Brian closes the door behind her. He gets into the back seat next to her and taps the shoulder of the cop driver.
"Bobbi's Diner please." he said.
Tina looks up from her window and tries to smile through her tears.
"Just like old times?"
"Yeah. Old times." Brian replied.
Tina nodded and stared back out her window as they slowly started to drive away from her sister's grave. Letty was still young. She had her whole life ahead of her. Yet she gets herself killed for becoming a cop. Letty grew up hating them along with everyone else in the family, such as Dom and Vince, so why did she join them? Was it because Dom left? Was she hiding something from Tina? Her own sister? No, she wouldn't. She'd never lie to her. Letty was only a year older than Tina and she would never bring harm to her. Letty and Tina had a bond. A family bond that no other pair of sisters had. They were like best friends more than actual sisters. Tina looks over at Brian on his cell phone. He was chating something about being late and wont be back at the office for another hour or so. When he hung up on the phone he finally noticed Tina staring blankly at him. He turns and his blue eyes meets her golden ones. Her eyes dont match Letty's. Tina had her father's eyes when Letty had her grandmother's. Dark brown. Almost black. The two stare at each other for a long time, with Tina's tear-stained cheeks lifting as her lips turned up in a smirk. She reaches over and playfully punches Brian's shoulder. Brian only winces and rubs his arms.
