Dom woke up earlier than Tina. He scooped her up in his arms and set her down in the passenger seat. Her eyes fluttered while she dreamed. Dom was actually aurprised that she almost instantly fell asleep after her waking up in the middle of the night, due to a nightmare. Dom got in his seat and quietly started the engine. He drove away from the motel and left Tina's car behind. 'She'll be pissed at me' Dom thought. But he wanted to get an early start on today. Just one step further than the cops. It had to be a two hour drive so far when Tina moaned. her eyes opened and noticed she wasnt in the backseat anymore, and she wasnt driving in her original car. She snaps her head over to Dom as he stares down the road. He notices her and smirks.

"Mournin, sista. Bought time you woke up."

Tina was fumed. "What. The. Hell!!! Where's my car!?"

"Back at the motel. The cops think two cars are in this chase now, if we use one car they would barely notice. Because their searching for two cars."

"But MY CAR?!" Tina screamed.

"Your even lucky that your here and coming with me. If you want your car back, you just might change my mind about sending you home. You got that?"

Tina didnt really have a choice in this. She growled and gave up. God, Brian's going to be pissed at her for losing a 18 million dollar car. Plus, she was just starting getting attached to it. Tina looked outside the window and saw mountains with a forest or two as Dom continued speeding down the road into oblivion.

"Where are we going?" She asked glumly.

"To someone's apartment 6 hours from here. Maybe 7 hours. This man pratically ran the place where Letty's murderer bought his car. We should get some info there."

"And how exactly did you figure this out?" Tina questioned.

"I squeezed it out of Leon." Dom said, avoiding Tina's gaze.

Tina gulped. "You...didnt kill him...did you?"

"Of course not! He's family, Ti! I would never hurt family!"

"Not physically at least." Tina grumbled. Metally, Dom could hurt someone. Like he hurt Tina.

Dom noticed that she meant that too. "Tina...you know i didnt mean to do that."

"I dont believe that." Tina whispered.

Dom was quiet, acting like he didnt hear that last bit. Honestly, he didnt know what he was thinking when Tina introduced him to Letty. And then he broke Tina to bits. It was a little confusing. He loves both the Monterello girls. And one died because of him. He couldnt afford Tina to die, too. Its all just too real for him. And it gets confusing at some points. He sighed.

"Tina..."

She looks over at him, with him looking back at her. His dark eyes looked like he could peirce into someone's soul. Her golden eyes looked like she could read someone's mind. Dom continued.

"...I remember everything about you and me...everything. How could i not? I remember when we would always come back from a job and you and i would instantly head back to the garage and always find a car to fix. You would always take the roller and go underneath while I always worked on the hood. I remember Mia would call out yelling dinner was ready and you wouldnt stop working, which made me drag you out from under the car and carry you over my shoulder into the house."

Tina scoffed. He actually remembered that? Dom smiled at those memories and continued.

"I remember you would forget the car and you and little Mia would take those old bicycles to the grocery store. You would take the aqua green bike with the old fashion breaks and the basket in the front. You and Mia would come home with loads of groceries while the two of you tried to run each other over. Sometimes i had to snatch the groceries from you so you wouldnt drop them and would have to go back for more. I remember you would always sit on my lap while you raced Leon on video games. You would win the first round and when you would go against Jesse, youd either tie or lose. And every night, every night, you and i would go out on the porch while everyone was asleep. We would try to count the stars without messing up or losing track."

Tina chuckled. "Yeah, we were pretty much foolish back then."

Dom smiled. "Nah..."

Tina stared at him with confusion as he talked.

"...It wasnt foolish. Not to me. i would injoy every minute of those nights. Just as much as i injoy those ten seconds on the race track. Im free. Im always free when it comes to cars...and famila."

Tina nodded and then smiled. She doesnt know how he does it, but Dom could always get her back up again so she could start all over. But what scared her was, if she could start over without Letty. She shrugged it off and turned on the radio. Manefest was on and Tina turned it up high, just the way she liked it. Dom smirked and rolled down the window, while Tina kicked her shoes off and put her feet up on the dashboard. This is what the two of them would usually do on a road trip. It was quiet as they listened to the music. Tina finally opened her mouth.

"Im sorry."

Dom looked at her confused. "For what?"

"For blaming everything on you. I always thought i had every right to blame you." Tina mumbled. "all i want to try now is trusting you. Do you think i could try that?"

Dom smirked. "You could try."

"Thanks." she grinned and placefully punched his shoulder.

Its almost like old times. Almost. Tina still cant decide if she's into him again. she's still not sure if trusting him is possible again. And she's worried. If Dom ever found out she's a cop, what would he do? Would he ever trust her again?
