-----

Erza stumbled through her apartment in an attempt to clear her way with the mess her armors have made. Baby Jellal stood there, shocked yet fascinated as he held Erza's hand for dear life.

"Scwawet, I-I'm scwawed." The little three year old expressed in the frightened (and cutest!) way possible.

Erza sighed in satisfaction when everything has been cleared up. She turned her head to the boy holding her hand and she smiled softly.

"Don't be scared. I'm Erza."

Jellal nodded his head and repeated what she said. "Ew-sa." He fumbled through his words and played nervously with his little fingers.

Erza smiled. Such a fast learner, she thought. The bluenette now looked up at her with a wide grin that graced his lips.

"Ewza!" He exclaimed. She nodded her head and opened the door for the child who looked around and observed his surroundings.

The little boy twisted his lips in fear and she noticed his discomfort. "Anything wrong?"

Baby Jellal nodded. "I don't like that." He pointed and she followed the direction of his finger. She noticed that he was pointing to the largest armor in the room. Jellal's eyes began to sting with tears and Erza's mouth went agape.

"U-uh... I'll dispose of it immediately!" She took the armor off its ridiculously big stand. He stopped crying and looked around, discovering a small fish bowl in the corner. His frown turned into the cutest smile.

While she struggled with the weight of her armor, he skipped to the other room and blinked in wonder. Erza spared a look at him and she smiled.

She knew that he grew up in a poor town. His parents were fishermen. No wonder he always admired fish. She could just see the twinkle in those orbs.

A knock on her door interrupted her thoughts and she yelled out a 'Coming!' to whoever was knocking on the door.

"We're going to have a game night! Wanna tag along?" It was Levy's voice. Her eyes lit up in wonder.

"Yeah. Just in a moment." Erza said and she heard scurrying feet. Jellal looked up at her in curiosity.

"Ew-za? Who was that?" He asked with a quieted voice. She blew her bangs off her eyes after fixing the armor.

"That was Levy." She replied and he nodded his head. Erza rose up a brow. "Do you even understand what I'm saying?"

Jellal nodded his head again and Erza tapped her chin. "Jump if you understand me."

Jellal nodded his head. Erza sighed. "No. You don't. you just happen to like nodding your head."

Jellal nodded his head again. The Requip mage huffed. "Perhaps you don't mind being left alone with Mr. Fishy, don't you?"

Jellal stared at her and he giggled. Erza rose up a brow. "What?"

The bluenette giggled into his palms and sat on the ground before finally mustering a word after his fits of giggles.

"Pimple." He pointed to her face and she sweat dropped. He was lucky he was a baby because if he wasn't, he'd actually be able to destroy the moon like how the people on Galuna Island liked it to be.

She bit back a growl. "My sweet Jellal, please behave and don't try anything stupid. I'll be back later and if ever you need me, I'll be downstairs with you aunts."

Jellal nodded and skipped over to talk with Mr. Fishy. Erza sighed and exited the room.

There was one thing suspenseful though.

Didn't Jellal like nodding?

-----------

Erza sighed as she opened the door to her apartment. "I'm back."

She looked around and the place was pretty neat. Except for the books and magazines that were on the floor-oh my god what the fuck!

Erza scurried to see what books he's been reading. He's just a baby for god's sake but he the brains of a council member! And why do you think did he even know what a pimple is?!

Seeing that he didn't open any books with salacious contents, she sighed and deflated. The redhead began to arrange the books but what made her blush the most was the sight she was currently beholding right now.

Jellal's snoring sounds and body under an opened dictionary that was bigger than him.

He looked like he was using the book as a blanket right after reading it.The book heaved up and down and his face never looked cuter. His cheeks were puffed out as his arm supported his head. She smiled to herself and took the book off his body. He rubbed his eyes as his body flipped over.

"Wewcome back, Ew-za." A yawn interrupted his sentence and she resisted the urge to pinch his cheeks. She crouched down and took the boy in his arms.

"Come now. You should have slept on the bed." She said as she felt the child nuzzling on her bosoms.

Jellal was nuzzling on her bosoms!

Erza blushed beet red and placed the boy carefully on the bed. She tucked him goodnight and kissed his forehead and he smiled in his sleep.

Erza chuckled, "Welcome back to me, indeed."
