The sun peeked through Erza's windowsill, it's soft rays kissing her skin. It was morning- the scarlet haired mage noted, and she sat up, rubbing her eyes.
She stretched her limbs, and yawned, before finally deciding to get out of bed to check on Jellal- who was currently sleeping in another part of her dorm room. She had decided it wasn't necessary for Jellal to sleep with her in bed, so she offered him a little empty room. It was furnished with a bed, some books, and apt lighting. The window in the room peeked one of Erza's favorite views, the early morning sunrise.
She knocked on the door three times, trying to find out whether Jellal was awake or not.
There was no response. Erza turned the door knob and pushed it open slowly. The door creaked, and she was worried Jellal was going to freak.
Soon after, she pokes her head in, looking at the figure sleeping on Jellal's designated bed.
She should've expected this, but alas, she didn't. On the bed, was a teenage boy— along the age of thirteen or fourteen. Erza wasn't really good with age-estimating, and she wasn't informed with the number or age gap between each speed-up growth.
Settling on the idea that Jellal was a fourteen year old boy, she was thinking of heading downstairs to grab some breakfast for the both of them, and perhaps they'd eat together. Before anything else, Erza reaches out, and places her hand on his forehead to check for his temperature.
Normal.
She sighed in relief, and withdraws her hand. The redhead was glad it wasn't the same as the alarming temperature he had the other day. The possibility of a casualty scared the shit out of her that day, to the point where she simply collapsed on her knees upon reaching home.
She turns on her heel and moves. The slight mumble from the sleeping Jellal made her crack a small smile. Even in his sleep, he couldn't stop murmuring her name.
"Scarlet... S-Scarlet."
Ah, the bliss of being asleep.
With that, she creeps outside, and leaves the little blue haired boy to sleep peacefully.

"So, you're telling me-- His mind will be affected with this 'speeding potion'?"
Lucy nods her head, and swirls the coffee in her mug. The blonde hasn't garnered much sleep these past few days either-- with trying to keep her fridge closed and locked down for the fear of a particular dragon slayer raiding her household every night.
"He'll have no recollection of the speeding process whatsoever, just a mild headache when it's finally complete."
Erza takes note of this. When she gets home, she'll make sure her cupblards are stacked with painkillers.
Suddenly, the guild hall falls silent, and it feels oddly desolate. Erza's eyebrow has arched, and she turns her head around to find out what the lack of commotion was about. She finds the silence deafening. You could hear a pin drop from a mile away. Natsu's head perks up from the pot roast he currently dug in, grinning widely. He steps up on the table, and points his index finger at the blue haired teen.
"Ha! Jellal's a big boy now!"
Boisterous laughter filled the room. Even Laxus was snickering into his burly hands. It was a rare spectacle to see Jellal look so lost, confused and well-- young.
"Alright!" Natsu punches his fists together, lighting up his whole body in fire. "This'll be the day I'll fight you, Jellal!"
The targeted blue haired boy looked very much confused and appalled. To him, he didn't know any of these people. And is that guy kissing a broomstick--! What place is this!
