Chapter 6- Race p.2

NERA POV

After racing I went to the VIP area to check my record.When I entered, I saw seventeen clapping their hands at me.

"What the hell?" I spurted

"Waah!! Congratulations! You are really a professional. Nera" Jeonghan said

"Thank you. Now if you excuse m~"

"Noona! How could you!" I suddenly heard berro whining at me.

"How could I what?"

"You almost killed me!!!"

"I ALMOST KILLED YOU?! WAAAH!! who was the one who initially use the smash technique without even thinking?"

"ME but still!! My Chim Chim!!!" He continued while mumbling incoherent words

"Now where were we. Zitao! What was the result"

"First of all Great job Miss Nera and Master Berro. The results are in and Congratulations to the both of you!" He said while clapping

"Miss Nera your new record is 20 lapses in 10 minutes! What a great achievement!" Assa!!! I thought.

Hearing The news I was so happy. I unconciously smiled and It lifted my mood.

The seventeen people clapped their hands and keep complimenting me. But I smiled coldly To them.

"Master Berro, your record is still 0-200. But we will award you because. In the history of Car Racing first time ever that a racer lost 200 times continously. "

I SMIRKED.

"loser. Look whose Butt is kicked now. Pabo." I said to Berro while smirking

"Anneyong guys!" I said while hurriedly leaving the area. Me and Mei Mei will have some time alone now.

Someone POV

She is still the master of racing. With her infamous 20+ accelerate she always win any race. Too bad I cant race with her. I really want to say sorry. NERA. forgive me.......

S.coups POV

The happenings of the racing didnt left my mind. I can't help but to feel anxious of Nera. She didnt let us see her after the Results. Knowing Berro had small cuts. Maybe she had bruises too.

Here I am at the beach now. Strolling and inhaling the fresh air. I pick up stones and played them. As I throw one stone in the beach I saw someone did it first. When I looked at the direction, Nera did it.

I carefully pick up stones and courageously sat beside her attempting to have a conversation. WELL HERE GOES NOTHING!

NERA POV

After I raced I always come here in the beach. I remember the things that happened to me this week. On how stressful work is and how lonely I realized I was.

As I played with my stones I noticed someone sat beside me. It was one of the seventeen members.

"What are you doing here." I snapped at him

"Here." He opened his palm full of rocks. "Lets play together!"

Since I was lacking of rocks I obliged to do so. A peaceful silence greeted us and I like it.

"You were great back there and Berro went to the clinic today after the match" He said breaking the peace

"Thanks " I said keeping the peace in the air.

"I was kind of proud of you. You know.. when you. Uhm. W-won."

"Why?"

"Because Its the first time I saw you smile and I saw how happy you are racing."

"You don't know me" I said while attempting to stand up

"I know" he said while holding my forearm and let me sat on the sand again.

"But I know you're not cold inside." He said while pointing his index near my heart flashing his cute smile.

He seems to know I'm troubled today.

"You know my mom always watch the sunset if she is stressed. And that habit kinda passed on to me too. I'm talking a lot am I." He said

He downly said to me "maybe I'll just go. I think you need some time for your-"

"Let's just stay here in peace" I said.

The sunset was visible and I looked at this guy next to me. He was smiling angelicly and I think his smile is captivating.

He looked at me and smiled.

"You know. My mom died already. She told me that sunsets are there to close the bad tidings you had for the day." He said while looking at the sunset

"I'm sorry for your loss." I said obviously not helping him

"It's okay I've moved on"

We stayed there in peace, silence and solemnity , until the horizon was unclear to be seen.

"Lets go" he offered

I obliged standing up and grabed my helmet.

"Thank you for this day. My stress was relieved really" I said to him. Words can't express how peaceful I've become today. And I'm happy my stress was relieved

He smiled.

"My pleasure" he replied

"What's your name?" I asked

"S.coups, You can call me Seungcheol."

"Thank you for this day Seungcheol. I hope we can be friends." I smiled genuinely at him. While walking to Mei Mei. I glanced at him.

"Wanna ride?"

He just nodded and flashed his angelic smile again. Well having a new friend Isn't bad at all. Right?
