Liam and I get back to the apartment complex at the same time so he walked me to my door.
"You want to come in and watch TV or something?" I ask politely.
"Sure!" He smiles and steps into my apartment.
"Want something to eat or drink?" I ask him.
"No thank you." He replies and sits on my couch. I sit next to him. Liam was so nice and polite and I need to face the facts that this man was absolutely gorgeous.
"Abby?" He asks gently.
"Yeah?"
"You're beautiful." He smiles at me. I blush.
"Thank you."
I had just met Liam but I trusted him. He had only one girlfriend his whole life, was family oriented, a 4.0 GPA and was so gentle. I let him through my wall but I don't know why.
I open the door at six o'clock and let Harry in, he smiles until he sees Liam. Liam gets up knowing its for the best.
"Abby, can I talk to you outside?" Liam whispers.
"No, she can stay in here and talk to you." Harry's deep green eyes stare Liam down. Liam gulps.
"Abby- uh- do you want to go out to dinner tomorrow night?" He stutters.
"Nope we have to practice tomorrow night." Harry spits.
"Excuse me but I asked Abby not you." Liam snaps losing his cool. Harry takes a step towards Liam. I put my hand on Harry's chest to hold him back. I was shocked by the electricity that ran through me once I laid a finger on him.
"Liam I will get back to you on that." I say and nod for him to leave. He leans down and presses his cool lips to my cheek and leaves. Harry was fuming as he lunges towards the door. I get inbetween him once more and I rest my hands on his shoulders. He tenses at my touch and takes a deep breath.
"Calm down Harry." I whisper. His muscles were bulging under his tight shirt.
"Are you going to say yes to the date?" He grumbles.
"I-I don't know. Why do you care?" I snapped.
"You don't get it still?!" He pleads. I shake my head. "For gods sake Abigail!" I turn my head as he says my full name. "I've liked you since 5th grade! I dated all those girls to try and get over you because I knew you would never give me the time of day! And when I came here, and I saw you, I knew that it was life giving me one last chance to get you, and I was stupid thinking I had a chance." He looks at the ground . I gasp and bite my lip.
"How do you know you don't have a chance?"
"Because you won't date anyone, you won't open up to anyone, and you made that clear. But you didn't even want to give me a hug last night and you let Liam kiss you on the cheek, which may not seem like a big deal but I know for a fact to you it is." He softly says. I was frowning and on the verge of tears but Harry tilts my face up and bends down so his face is level with mine. "You're like god damn Audrey Hepburn from Breakfast at Tiffany's, afraid of falling in love." He laughs. I laugh along with him. Then I look up.
"Harry! That's it! That's the scene! The last scene from breakfast at Tiffany's!" I shout in excitement and run to my laptop.
"Does it have a make out scene?" He replies.
"Yes." I roll my eyes.
"I'm in!" He cheerfully says.
