Chapter Twenty Four

HARRY'S POV

"Here I'll take that for you. " I smile at Abby and take her bag for her.

"Thank you Harry." She mumbles still half asleep. She leans on me when we are walking. She was really tired, did she sleep last night?

"Abby come here." I demand. She moves over to me as we walk out of the train. I hand her her bag and pick her up bridal style.

"H-Harry what are you doing?" She whispers with her head drooping.

"Were you having nightmares again last night?" I ask quietly. She frowns. "Answer me." I demand a bit louder.

""Yeah..."

"Why didn't you come and get me?" I ask gently.

"Because I didn't want to bug you."

"You wouldn't bug me." I say and set her in my car after kissing her cheek.

She gives me a weak smile.

When we get back to my house I lay down next to Abby and put my arms around her.

"Abby?"

"Yes?" She mumbles.

"What are we?" I ask. She raises an eyebrow. "I love you. You love me. Are we still just friends? Is that all we will ever be?" I ask holding back my tears.

She frowns.

"Harry... I-I don't want to hurt you."

"It would be a privilege to be hurt by you." She smiles a bit as I say it. "Even if you do, I wouldn't love you any less." I say. She looks down.

"Are you sure?" She asks.

"Yes." I tilt her chin up and press my lips to hers. Her body stiffens but she relaxes. "Abigail, please be mine." I practically beg and hold her hands. She looks at me with her beautiful blue eyes. She bites her lip. "P-please." I whimper.

"Yes Harry. Yes!" She smiles and kisses me. My heart skips a beat and I couldn't stop smiling. Neither could she. After years and years of being head over heels for this beautiful girl that was way out of my league I final,y got her. Did I deserve her?

Nope.

Was I selfish enough to keep her?

Yes.

She falls asleep in my arms which she has done a few times but this time was different. She was mine. No one else's. Mine. It felt amazing.
