Chapter 5 - Shock

A/N: hey guys! Just putting this here quick. Will put more details at the end. Ok so this is where the story gets a plot twist. See y'all! XD for some reason I've always wanted to say that... Bye!

I packed my suitcase, most of my clothes went in, I reached the back of my cupboard, my riding clothes were there...my heart was in my throat...would I freak out? I really didn't want to but...wait a minute I'm not freaking out! I pulled my white jodhpurs out. Feeling the soft but hard fabric I smiled at the memories, for once no sadness. Feeling brave I pulled them on, next I pulled out a polo shirt, it was baby purple, Delight and my colour. I pull it over my head as well. Next I find my long socks and boots, my long full ones. I put them on too and look at myself. I look as if I was supposed to be wearing them. Next I pulled a dusty photo out of the cupboard. It was me holding a rosette in my right hand and Delight's reins in the other. I was smiling happily and Delight had her ears pricked. I smiled. Next I found a box. Opening it I found trophies and rosettes. This brought tears to my eyes. I packed the photo putting it in under everything to hide it.

"Ahhhh!" I heard a scream. Sprinting downstairs I saw my mom standing on a chair with a broom held out in front of her...I looked down. Really?! A mouse.

"Ahhhhh!" My mom screams again.

"What mom!?" I say. Annoyed.

"Honey. You're wearing your..." She says with tears of joy in her eyes.

"Oh mom..." I say running to her. "I miss her." Now tears are running freely.

My mom pulls me in for a hug. "I know honey. I know..." She says comforting me.

"I would have gone with her!..." I say.

My mom just holds me to her chest. Hugging me and giving me a shoulder to cry on.

**Unknown POV**

"Stupid horse!" The man says, pulling the whip back and then releasing it. I drags down. Into the horses back, "I give you a life and you repay me by attacking my guest!" Stupid, ugly horse! It went ahead and bit my new client, he was just about to buy my ugly old mare and then it went and... I bring the whip down again, "you know horse. I can let you back out into that sand paddock with no food or water until you die!" He screams at him "In fact, I think I will!" He says, dragging the poor gelding who was showing the whites of his eyes into the ring near the road. And locking it so that the darned gelding who could open gates could not get out.

**Camber POV**

Dad grabbed my bag and chucked it into the trunk of the SUV and then the garbage bag that had my bedding and other room stuff in it. I opened the car door and hopped in while my parents and sister did the same. My dad started the engine and we were off. In three days time I was going to start going to school at the prestigious Canterwood Crest Acadamy. I fell asleep in the car, waiting for the next six hours to be over.

-three hours later-

I woke up to the sound of my dad hooting. Instantly I was wide awake and asked my dad how long I'd been asleep for.

"Sleeping beauty you've been asleep for three hours." He says.

"Daaad...." I say embarrassed.

"What hon-"

"STOP THE CAR!!!" I scream looking out of the window. My mom and sister wake up at my noise.

"What Camber?!" The car door slams shut and I'm running on the side of the road, trying to get to it...
