"Where is he?" Joe asked, looking around the airport. "Joe, stop worrying. He's probably walking through security right now." I said, turning around in my seat to look as well. I nudged Joe, "See, there he is." I said, pointing to Oli and waving. Oli was walking towards Joe and I, with a small suitcase rolling behind him. I put my bag down and stood up as Oli came up to us. "Hi Oli!" I smiled, hugging him. "Hey, it's been a while!" Oli said, hugging me back. He did a weird handshake hug thing with Joe and I watched confusedly as Joe gave Oli a weird look and Oli lift his eyebrows and smile back at him. Joe's face turned into a wide smile, then he sat back down next to me. Oli sat next to Joe as we waited for our flight to South Africa.

"Oh god I can't wait to be somewhere hot." I said, hugging the Caspar Lee sweatshirt for warmth. "Me too. I love winter in hot places. It's like summer." Oli said wholeheartedly. Joe wrapped his arm around me to add more warmth for me. "Yeah, it's too cold in England." Joe agreed.

"Flight 672 to Cape Town International Airport boarding now." A lady's voice spoke throughout the Airport. "That's us." Joe said, standing up and grabbing his carry-on bag. I stood up with him, a wave of anxiety suddenly hitting me. I shook it off, grabbing my bag. I got my passport out and checked my ticket again.

We boarded the plane and sat in our spots in the middle of the plane on the three seater rows. I was sat on the end left seat, and Joe was in the middle seat between Oli and I. I started fidgeting with my hands. Joe put his hand over my fidgeting one, "Calm down," Joe chuckled, "Just relax." Joe said. I think he may have figured out why I was fidgeting my hands. "Its 11hours and 30minutes." I said, biting my lip nervously, feeling a lump slowly form in my throat as my anxiety rose. "Gorgeous, it's an over night flight. You're fine, I'm right next to you." Joe said soothingly. I nodded slowly, feeling a bit better, but the lump remained in my throat.

Don't panic. You're fine. Joe's right next to you. You're supposed to be on holiday. You're supposed to have fun. Don't cry, you'll make a fool out of yourself.

The thoughts in my mind didn't really help. I intertwined my hand with Joe's as the lump in my throat grew, making it harder to breathe. I looked at him through my now glossy eyes.

"How many windows are on this plane?" Joe asked simply. I looked at him confusedly. "What?" I squeaked out, trying not to let any tears fall. "How many windows are on this plane?" Joe asked again. I looked around the plane. "12?" I said, and Joe wiped his thumb under my right eye, wiping a stray tear away. "Right, and that's only in this section, right?" Joe asked. "I guess." I sniffled. "How many sections do you think this plane has?" he asked. "Um, I don't know. It's a big plane." I said. "Do you think these chairs are comfortable?" Joe asked. "I don't know, they're fine I guess." I answered. "I love you." Joe said, kissing my cheek. "I love you too." I smiled. Then, I noticed that at some point, the lump in my throat had disappeared and I didn't feel as anxious any more. All Joe did was distract me from the feeling. I smiled widely. "Thank you," I said. "That's okay. I used to do it with Zoe all the time." Joe said, shrugging, "You should sleep and try not to think about it. It'll help."

I nodded. A persons voice came through the plane, and a few of the flight attendants demonstrated the safety stuff, then the pilot asked us all to put our seatbelts on. I snapped my seatbelt on, then braced myself for the take off, and any turbulence that follows. We got through the take off, and I decided to close my eyes, hoping to catch a few z's before landing.

I slowly opened my eyes and pushed away the few strands of hair in my face. I sat up, as I had been leaning on Joe's shoulder, and yawned, leaning back to stretch my back out. "Oh, you're finally away. I've been dying to pee for the last hour." Joe said, standing up. "Oh, oops. Sorry." I said slyly. Joe left to go to the bathroom, so I took the chance to catch up with Oli.
