ASHTON BROKE THE tibia bone in his left leg and was sentenced to six months on crutches. Ashton was raged at that, meaning he'd spend the rest of the season on the bench. Through his madness, though, he let Luke choose the cast with a dimpled smile. He liked seeing Luke happy. It was a beautiful feeling to make the boy smile.

"Red. Red's a good color on you," Luke muttered quietly, his cheeks flushing to a rosy pink. Luke's adoptive dad, Richard, nodded curtly before handing the nurse a clipboard.

"I'll be right back with your cast." The middle-aged nurse smiled sweetly, walking out of the room. Luke watched her go, his eyes catching sight of Ashton's mom out in the waiting room who was speaking diligently with his own mom.

"I'm gonna go talk to your mom," Richard's American accent didn't really bother Luke. He knew he was adopted. Both of his parents had close to the light and emerald green eyes and red hair, while he had blue eyes and blonde hair. Plus his sister, Rayne, liked to point out that they were both adopted a lot. They looked like complete opposites, neither of them matching their parents.

They were the same age as well. That kind of gave it away.

"How ya' feeling?" Luke asked as he spun around on the doctor stool. Richard always told him not to do it, told him it was unprofessional to have his son sit in his chair, but Luke always argued and said it was unprofessional to bring his son to work with him.

"A little woozy," Ashton replied, wiping his palms on his NIKE shorts. Luke giggled, the stool slowing to a stop. He noticed Ashton was staring at him and blushed, hiding his face in his hands. "Nooo! Don't hide your pretty face!"

Luke giggled again, peeking at his boyfriend through his fingers. Ashton gave him a lopsided smile, a smile that carved his dimples so incredibly deep that they looked like caves. Ashton was art. A beautiful piece of sunshine that Luke will always love.

But Michael Clifford was art too.

He was aesthetically pleasing, from the rosy tint of his lips to the powder white complexion of his skin. Luke would never say it aloud, but Michael was a beautiful human. The muted pastel colors of his eyes caught Luke's attention before his barbaric behavior. And the way he looked at Luke sometimes made his heart flutter.

"What are you thinking about?" Ashton asked, the look on his face. It was the look when Ashton knows something is up with his boyfriend, and Luke hated that look. Normally he would speak exactly what's on his mind, but not today. Nope, he wasn't going to tell his boyfriend that he was thinking about how beautiful Michael Clifford was.

That'd be awkward.

"Michael broke your leg," Luke mocked anger, only to satisfy his boyfriend. Ashton didn't look too convinced but fell for it.

"Yeah, I know. Would it be bad if I wanted to get revenge on him?" Ashton asked with a chuckle. Luke shook his head. "How about if you helped?"

Luke stopped at that, his eyes widening slightly.

"He seems to have taken a liking to you, but honestly who wouldn't? And I feel like we could get him good if you helped toy with him with us." Ashton was completely serious, his eyes containing the fire lit behind them.

"Us?" Luke stumbled over his words, his eyes blown wide.

"Niall and I, the usual," Ashton muttered with a shrug. "Along with Mark, Tony, Carter, Alex, Vander, Helix, and Philip."

"That's half of the lacrosse team Ash," Luke mumbled. "What help would I be?"

"You don't have to do it, you know. You can stay out of it," Ashton stated.

"What do I need to do?" Luke asked again, this time a little more assertive. He figured since Luke was technically responsible for Ashton's broken leg by Michael's unwanted infatuation with the pale, skinny blonde, it wouldn't hurt to help.

"Tease him. Make him want you more than he wants you now. Be the best tease you can be, but make it believable." Ashton's eyes were lit with a fire, he looked devilish. "I know you can do it, baby." Ashton took Luke's hand in his and tugged the boy closer, his lips pressing a kiss to Luke's visible collarbone; most likely an act to ease the boy into it. Ashton knew that Luke had a hard time saying no when his lips were anywhere on Luke's neck.

"T-that all?" Luke stuttered with a blush coating his already rosy red cheeks.

"Kiss him."

"What?!" Luke squealed in surprise. Was Ashton allowing Luke to cheat on him? What in the actual?

"It's for my plan, Lukey," Ashton defended quickly. "I need him to think you're into him."

Ashton had gone crazy, but the thought of kissing Michael had been on his mind all day. Kissing Michael should be completely out of question, or rather, is completely out of the question because Luke has a boyfriend. A boyfriend who's allowing Luke to cheat. What kind of boyfriend does that?

Ashton Irwin apparently.
