3 weeks had already passed and Jaime had to fly back to Miami with his mom and somehow they convinced Diana's mom to let her go as well and be homeschooled in Miami.
Jaimes POV
Today was Monday and we were back in Miami and later on today I had to go to the venue for the "middle rounds" which meant that today all of the boys who made it had to go to the venue and the judges would choose only a couple of us to form 5 bands and the rest would have to go home and I was super nervous.
"Amor ya estás listo" my mom called.
"Si" I said said simply as I walked out of my room to find my mom and Diana waiting for me to drop me off at the venue . I smiled at them and we walked off to the car. Once we pulled up to the venue mom y Diana walked me to the entrance. "Jaime, no estés nervioso mi amor, yo sé que tú tienes el talento para ser parte de una de las 5 bandas. Suerte Okay? Te quiero." She said to me and kissed my forehead "gracias mami te quiero." I told her and kissed her cheek and then I looked at Diana. "Well, good luck, I know you'll make it cuz you have all the qualities their looking for okay ? Just be yourself" she said to me "I will." I said and hugged her and kissed her cheek "love you" she said "love you too" l said back to her an walked towards the door as I waved.
Diana's POV
Since Jaime was going to take a while we decided to go grab Starbucks across the street. "Amor que quieres" Mrs Cruz said, "mm.. Un vanilla bean frappe please" i said and she nodded and ordered. Jaimes mom was like my 2nd mom since I've known her since I moved to Puerto Rico when I was like 5. My parents are from Mexico but they came to the US and I was born in New Jersey. My parents were only child's and my grandparents had passed away when I was like 2 and Since then my parents had the crazy idea of moving to Puerto Rico or Cuba since they had no family and that's how I ended up in Toa Baja as Jaimes front neighbor. Mrs. Cruz Handed me my frappe and we walked around for a while. "Ya me mando Jaime un mensaje diciéndome que Iván a salir como en 10 minutos" Mrs Cruz said and I nodded and we walked back to the venue. As we got there, we noticed some guys walking out of the venues with red eyes, some of them crying cuz they made it and some crying cuz they didn't make it. We saw Jaime walking towards us with that one guy Joel and they were both crying... But was it cuz of happiness or because they didn't make it... Once Jaime was in front of us he hugged us and whispered "si, si pase!" And me and his mom
Congratulated him. "Y tu Amor" Mrs Cruz said as she looked towards Joel and he nodded and said "tambien pase" he said with a smile and Jaimes mom hugged him and I smiled at him and gave him a side hug and congratulated him as well. He looked behind me and waved. "Pues mi mama ya llego por mi, le voy a dar la noticia" he said "I'll see you soon"he said to Jaime and he looked at me and came over and said "I hope I see you soon too" and gave me a quick kiss on the cheek and ran towards his family as he hugged them and probably told them that he made it. "Ayyy Dianaaa" Jaimes mom said winking towards me and I blushed and looked at Jaime who looked kinda upset .
