Jeonghan woke up by the sound of moans. Not normal moans, it sounded like someone was in pain. He sat up, just now realizing that we had slept on top of his neighbor's body. As he looked at the male, he realized that he was the one who had to be in pain.

He kept moving, muttering words that Jeonghan couldn't make out under his uneven breathing. The black haired male had a nightmare. Jeonghan wanted to know what he was dreaming about, why he was like that and what was haunting him. Sweat was already dripping down his forehead. Not being able to see him like that anymore, he shook the older gently.

Seungcheol gasped, sitting up, still inside of his dream in his mind. Then his eyes fell on Jeonghan, who looked worriedly at the older. "Are you alright?" he wanted to know.

Seungcheol sucked in his bottom lip, his throat feeling dry. "Yeah, yeah I am." he told Jeonghan, obviously lying. His dream had seemed so real, it actually scared him. He didn't want to relive what he dreamt. It was a nightmare; a nightmare that could happen in real life.

"Are you sure? I mean, you look like you've seen a ghost."

Seungcheol chuckled. "Something similar to that." he said coldly, thinking about the person he had dreamed of. Just thinking about him, made his fist curl up into balls and his jaw clench. The boy hated him more than anything. That guy was ruining his life.

"Wanna talk about it?" Jeonghan questioned, leaning against the wall instead of Seungcheol like he did for the last couple of hours. He wanted to look at the time, wanting to know for how long he had slept and when he could get out of this tiny space, but the more he looked at the mess Seungcheol was, the more he wanted to comfort him.

"It's nothing, really. Just a fight between siblings. We have been fighting for a while, you know? My father owns a company, and we both got our fair share of stocks. My brother is not happy, though. He wants the company to himself. I don't know why, but lately, I've been dreaming of him a lot. In situations, that could tear the family apart." Seungcheol told his neighbor.

Jeonghan liked to know that he wasn't the only one with family issues. And knowing that the older was worried that his family would fall apart, made him want to help him even more. He knew what it felt like to live without a family. He had done that for almost three years now. The only support he got, was from his grandmother. But she did it secretly. If the rest of Jeonghan's family would find out about the old lady still being in contact with Jeonghan, they would force her and not give her any freedom.

His fight with his family wasn't similar to Seungcheol's though. He didn't grow up in the same way as Seungcheol. He had to struggle with money, save up months for the things he wanted and never had a job prepared for him; a job that made his future so much easier. Jeonghan had to build all these things for himself. Even when he still lived with his family, he grew up in poor conditions. The only person who knows about his past is his best friend since the older doesn't like to talk about it. It brought him back to all the bad times. Times, he wanted to forget.

"Whatever it is about, you should try to sort out the issue. A family is the most important thing someone can have." Jeonghan said, thinking back to his own family. He missed each of them, but it was for the better for him to stay away from the people who hated him. Not everyone loved the boy. Not everyone thought he was an angel. To them, he was not even close to one. They hated everything about Jeonghan.

The older let a faint smile make its way onto his pink lips. "Are you close to your family?"

It was a matter Jeonghan didn't want to talk about, but strangely he trusted the older enough, to tell him about his life. About the secrets, he kept from everyone since he was scared that he would get judged again. "No, the only family member I talk to is my grandmother. We don't talk too much, though." Jeonghan said honestly.

"Oh," Seungcheol said, the smile disappearing from his face. "Can I ask why?"

Jeonghan nodded. "They weren't too pleased when I told them what I want to do in my future. I want to become an art illustrator. To them, I am probably the worst thing a male can ever be. Well, in their eyes," Jeonghan murmured. "I am gay, and ever since I've told them that, they have been hating on me and told me to never talk to them again."

"That's..." Seungcheol didn't know what to say. It seemed like Jeonghan had it far worse than him. At least his parents didn't despise him when he came out of the closet. They took it in rather calmly, saying that everyone had the right to love whoever they wanted to. His brother didn't have anything against it, though, but he still saw the black haired male as a competition.

"Listen, your family must be pretty stupid to let go of you like that. It doesn't matter who you love, how you dress or who you want to be. All that matters is that you are happy and comfortable in your own skin. It might hurt to know that your family couldn't accept that, but when you have found that one person you want to be with forever, when you are finally happy and feel like no one can wipe that beautiful smile off of your face, then they will be the ones to wish to have never done those things to the angel they have lost." Seungcheol said, hoping that Jeonghan felt somehow cheered up.

And he did. It made him so happy, that he jumped into Seungcheol's arms and embraced him closely. The two stayed like that for a while, until Jeonghan had pulled away again. Then they talked about their situations. Seungcheol too admitted his love for the same gender. Jeonghan then told Seungcheol about his life when he told his family, and how they have kicked him out of their household.

Seungcheol might have thought that Jeonghan was stupid and ignorant, but as he heard his story, he couldn't help but think that he was a fighter. After getting kicked out, not having a place to stay in and working over hours plus studying every day, the boy had built a life for himself. It wasn't the best life, but a life that was worth living. A life, which was too precious to throw away. Jeonghan was living proof, that no matter what your situation is, that if you fight for it, you can do anything.

After their heartfelt conversation, Jeonghan looked at the time on his phone. Only thirty minutes, until help would come for the two guys.

So... this story is coming to an end soon since I can't make them stuck in an elevator forever. And I feel like this chapter sucks tbh 😕

Well anyways, thank you for reading/voting/commenting. I'm also planning on writing a new fanfiction once I finish this one (it will also be Jeongcheol) and the chapters will definitely be longer than this one.
