Martha stood at the desk of the Phoenix Hotel, watching as several people ran about the lobby. They were preparing for something, cleaning and sweeping. Dusting every inch of the lobby, even though Martha had done this already once today. She was, in fact, slightly annoyed that they felt the need to go back over her work, and she thought about jumping over the desk and questioning them on it. Just before she made her move toward the mob of crazy cleaners, she heard someone coming out of the employee elevator.

"Tim, are the preparations made?" A woman's voice said coming from around the corner. As they reached the front lobby, Martha could see Lady Erin and Magi Protector Tim.

"Yes Erin. Though, I'm still not quite sure why we made these preparations before they actually came to stay with us," Tim replied. "I mean, how do you know they will even want to come back here. The last time they came here, we... you know..."

"I know, Honey," Erin replied. She stopped at the desk and put her hand on Tim's chest. "But I sent them the letter myself. And after what the sages saw, with the battle with the fallen, they will need somewhere to go. And we will help them."

"Of course Erin, I'm just worried about them. They have been raised by a fallen mentor, and running around the world like... like..."

"Like Magi," she finished. "They will need to be taught respect for this place, but they will help teach the others what to look for. They will help us as much as we help them."

"And what about the girl?"

Erin smiled. "She is destined to do great things. We just need to help her see that. This little adventure opened her eyes to the world, and now we need to help her understand it."

"If she is who you say she is, then does that make him..." Tim questioned.

"It means there is a good chance that she has saved us a lot of work and found him."

"The two of them here together, it could be dangerous."

"They are dangerous either way. And what better way for the Magi to keep an eye on them, than to have them close? Ok, enough. They will be here any second. The sages saw them parking in the garage a few blocks over."

"Um," Martha said after listening silently. "Are we expecting someone important?"

Tim looked over at her and give her a confident smile. "We are indeed. New students to the school of the Magi. In fact, young Miss Klavanski, two of them will be joining you in your quarters."

Martha gave a weak smile, slightly disappointed. "I was just getting used to having the room to myself."

"Trust me, Martha," Erin said. "You will enjoy these two girls, and learn a lot from them."

Just then, the door to the lobby opened and in stepped a young girl. Erin stood straight and held Tim's arm, he looked proper and they slowly walked the large lobby toward the new visitor. Bright blue eyes and sandy blond hair, she was tired, but her smile was large. She was looking about at the many people who had been cleaning, now staring at her as she heaved a large suitcase into the marble flooring.

"Welcome!" Erin rang out. "Somebody will be more than happy to help you with your bags." Suddenly there was a young boy with curly hair standing close to the girl. He gave her a soft smile and took possession of her bags.

"I am Lady Erin, and my husband Tim," she said as she came closer to the girl.

She smiled at Erin and held tightly to a small bag in front of her. "I'm Dona Blue. Lady Erin." Erin quickly made her way to Dona and grabbed her face lightly. She looked her over and saw the gleaming blue eyes of what seemed to run in her family.
