Part 11: Five Months Later

The pic is what she wears except the hat. Because you know she probably wouldn't wear a belly shirt while pregnant.

Aaliyah's POV~5 months later

I was showing now and rarely left my room. Like really showing. I. Was. Huge.

But at the moment I was having lunch with Sinbad and Nadir. And we were taking about Nadir's birthday in 3 days. I usually didn't make a big deal about it but Sinbad wants to throw him a big party because it was his first birthday with him and he wanted to take this chance for him to announce that he had a son but he still needed to ask Nadir if he was okay with that.

"Mom you look like a magician" nadir laughed

"For your information I know magic. And I used to get paid to make magic tools." I corrected

"Wait I thought that you couldn't acquire a metal vessel if you were a magician." He asked

"Well I'm the only known exception. I only awakened my magic after I fled from the assassins because all the rukh were denying me because of what I was doing. And I captured a dungeon right after I left so I didn't have the time to realize my new powers." I said looking at him

"So Nadir about your party." Sinbad stated

"Yeah what about it" he replied

"I was thinking I could announce you as my son and as my legitimate heir to the Sindrian thrown" he partially asked

"I don't think you should announce the heir part. I'm blind so you probably should announce Aaliyah's pregnancy not me as your child" he said

"Nadir the people of Sindria are very excepting and they probably won't care as long as you'd get the job done" Sinbad explained

I smiled as I heard them fighting about weather or not to announce when I felt the baby kick especially hard. It just made me smile wider.

"Wait mom did the baby just kick" Nadir asked

"Yeah" I answered "How'd you know"

"Like with the moving things I could tell. Hold on let me try something" nadir said standing up

He put his hands on my stomach and waited for about 5 seconds before saying "I think if I am right then it's a girl, but it's possible I'm wrong but I am almost positive that it's a girl."

"Thank you Nadir" I replied

I really want a girl. I love Nadir with all my heart but I could never understand everything as well as I could with a girl.

When we all finished I went back to my room and sat down at my desk working through piles and piles of scrolls about ancient forms of magic that I had left with Aaron along with some of my old and most dangerous magic tools. We were the only two to know where I kept the most dangerous devices in the world.

"You'll just work yourself to death" Sinbad said from my doorway.

"Yeah it's called preparing you should try it sometime. Since I am now totally useless in battle at the moment I can just look for some clue as to who the bitch who ruined my 10 year vacation is." I said not even looking at him.

"So you'd rather be back home" he questioned coming over and touching my papers

"You know that I don't have an actual home anywhere anymore. And don't touch that it's thousands of years old I got it from one of my djinn it's worth more than both of our lives" I explained rolling up another scroll

"How the hell did you get them" he asked concerned

"I got them years ago before I left I gave them to Aaron along with several of my magic tools for him to hide and keep safe. He might've been only 13 but I trusted him more than anyone else in the world. He even knew about Nadir from the beginning."
