Aaliyah's POV
I made it to my room before I broke down, I couldn't let anyone see me like this I needed to be strong for everyone else's sake.
If they saw me crying they wouldn't allow me to fight. They would become panicked. In this battle I had to be there for everyone, to protect everyone.
My life doesn't matter, at all.
Nadir's POV
I was walking down the hall to my room when I knew that Aaliyah was crying.
When I figured that out I stopped walking I know that she cried over Daisy for almost a week when she was reminded of her but then after that she just stopped showing anything.
No emotions at all. She shut everything and everyone out. It took years for her to be somewhat okay, and at times she would revert back to that self especially on July 13. The date of Daisy's death and birth or more like Aaliyah's miscarriage.
I walked over to Aaliyah's door but I couldn't bring myself to tell her I was there so I just sat down with my back to the wall, my head was I between my legs and I could tell the occasional tear escape and hit the ground.
Mom was trying to be the rock for everyone so nobody would become worried or scared for their well beings and nobody would question her mental stability.
"Damnit mom, you don't need to do this" I whispered as I got up and went into my room because I felt Sinbad coming.
Sinbad's POV
I saw Nadir sitting by Aaliyah's door but when he felt me coming he got up and went into his room hiding his face with his hands.
I looked at Aaliyah's door then to Nadir's I knocked on Aaliyah's door and asked "Aaliyah can we talk?"
"Fuck off, Sinbad" I heard and realized that she was sitting on the other side of the door.
"You know Nadir was just sitting here he seemed pretty upset what did you do" I tried to joke
"I had no idea he was there to be honest" her voice void of emotion.
"Aaliyah open the door this is my palace I'll get this door opened one way or another"
"Great then why don't you go and get a guard to open this door because I won't" she joked
"Aaliyah, I think you've forgotten how to lock a door" I said as I open the door and see her staring out the window.
