"Um... do you have a sister?" Michael asked quietly, confused by all the... well, pink. Luke shook his head with a smile and sat down on his bed, Ashton and Calum joining him and making themselves comfortable.
"I wish you did, Lukey," Calum spoke up. "Your family has fantastic genes. She would be so beautiful," he gazed off, daydreaming. Luke rolled his eyes at his friend's comment.
"Wait, I'm confused..." Michael mumbled, gazing around Luke's girly room.
"I like "girly" stuff, I guess," Luke shrugged, making air quotes with his fingers with the word 'girly'.
"Oh... but you don't look-"
"Like a girl? I know; I'm not transgender. I know I'm a boy, and I don't want that to change. I just like things... more on the feminine side," he explained. Michael nodded slowly.
"Do you wear girl clothes? I mean, you're dressed no- um... like a boy right now," he stopped myself from saying 'normal', knowing Luke would probably take offense to that.
"He does, just not outside," Ashton chimed in. "And it's not much, just, like, leggings and sweaters," he added, nodding towards Luke's closet. "Show him, Lukey."
"Ooh, I can model my new sweaters Cally bought me!" Luke exclaimed excitedly, clapping his hands before running over to grab a bag. He turned to Michael, "I suppose I should change somewhere else, huh?" He gave him a small smile before rushing out of the room. Michael turned to the other two boys.
"Does he change in front of you guys?" They both nodded.
"Yeah, we've known him forever, so he's comfortable enough with us now to show off his body," Calum chuckled.
"I suppose, since you've just met him, he's not quite there yet with you," Ashton added. Michael nodded slowly.
"Stop gossiping and pay attention to me," Luke joked, coming back into the room. Michael stared at his drastic change of clothing. He had on black leggings and a simple, plain lilac sweater. It was a bit oversized, so it went down to just above his mid-thigh, hung off one of his shoulders- not to mention, showed off his collarbones -and gave him sweater paws.
He looked absolutely adorable.
Michael actually almost blurted out that thought, but Calum beat him to it.
"It looks amazing, babe,"
"Yeah, I like it," Ashton said, giving him a soft smile. Luke turned his gaze over to the red-haired boy, expectantly. Noticing this, Calum and Ashton trained their eyes on him as well.
"Y-You look b- um," he stopped himself from saying 'beautiful', his face burning. "Great," he finished, looking down at his hands. He heard Luke giggle as he exited the room again.
"Do you think those leggings were new as well?" Ashton asked Calum casually.
"I dunno, maybe," he shrugged. "Looked great on him, though; hugged his legs nicely,"
Ashton bit his lip and nodded in agreement.
"Yeah, nice for his legs... he has great legs, doesn't he?" Calum bit his lip as well and nodded.
"Definitely," he paused. "Do you think he'd like a skirt? I saw him looking at some when we bought the sweaters," Ashton thought for a second before nodding.
"Yeah, and he'd look so good in a skirt," Michael just stared at them. They seemed to remember he was there and turned to him.
"Sorry, you're probably uncomfortable and confused," Calum apologized with a chuckle. Michael smiled small, shaking his head.
"No, it's cool."
In all honesty, he wouldn't mind seeing Luke in a skirt.
