six: tutoring

"luke? why don't i ever see you studying? you seem to have a lot of time with your time spent here..." michael stops writing and turns to look at the blonde, both of them coming face to face with each other.

caught off guard, luke scratches the back of his neck, searching for an answer in his empty brain.

"i specifically take classes that doesn't require a lot of homework," luke settled on, even though it wasn't exactly accurate.

"how'd you know that they wouldn't require a lot of homework?" michael asks again.

luke sighs and decides to tell the truth.

"i don't do them because i'm either too lazy or i just don't know how to do the work," he admits, earning a frown from michael.

"does it make you wanna do it if i tell you that i will help you?" michael questions and luke ponders about it.

"you mean help me do all my homework?"

"i mean help you with the questions you don't know, silly!" michael giggles softly and luke's heart almost melts.

"but it's still a lot of work michael," luke pouts. "i don't like doing work."

"come on luke, you can come over to my house and i'll help you, it'll be loads of fun! i promise!" michael reaches over to nudge him.

"fun and work doesn't go together michael, it never does."

"i can prove it to you!"

"what if you can't?"

"i owe you ten bucks..?"

"no," luke bit his lower lip. "you owe me a kiss."

"ew!" michael scrunched his face with slight disgust.

luke frowns.

"okay you owe me ten bucks," and a kiss, luke added in his head.

"deal!" michael held up his pinky for luke to hook his own with before going back to doing his work.

"oh michael," luke chuckles.

as each day passed, luke felt like his teeny tiny crush for michael was growing into a bigger thing, much bigger than before. he knew that he was definitely infatuated, but, he didn't really know if love could replace it.

luke found michael absolutely perfect, his flaws were considered to be part of the perfection too. luke knows that no one is perfect, but to him, michael was the exact definition of perfect. from his face, to his hair, to his warm and fluffy innocent personality, he has it all. it was something luke couldn't pass without crying.

sometimes luke wants to hold the boy as close to him as possible, but now even accidentally brushing past his shoulder could be considered weird to michael. Luke was determined, eager and hungry to know more about michael and maybe the little offer to tutor him by michael could just satisfy his curiosity.

/suddenly drops a update bomb out of nowhere because I got inspired and started to work on my works again but will be gone soon in a matter of days/
