Draco's POV
*two days later*
I was in Transfiguration, but I wasn't paying the slightest attention to anything McGonagall was saying about Vanishing spells. I was thinking about the kiss. I was thinking about her. Oh, how I wish we had Transfiguration with the Gryffindors-so I could see her.
"Maybe Mr. Malfoy here could tell us the proper technique to Vanishment?" Professor McGonagall said, staring at me. I had no clue what she said.
"Uhm, what did you say?" I asked. McGonagall's mouth thinned.
"I think a night's detention will teach you not to daydream in my class. 10 points from Slytherin." She said, her voice like icy daggers. Ugh.
*10 minutes later*
"Class dismissed." McGonagall's voice rang throughout the room. I jumped up, threw my books into my bag, and hurried off to the dungeons for Potions. When I got there, all the Gryffindors were in there seats. I strode to my seat in the third row with my usual swagger, all eyes on me. On my seat I found a neatly folded note. Heart racing a thousand miles a minute, I sat down and slid the parchment open. The words upon it were written neatly and carefully:
i love you too draco
~h
Slowly, a smile crept its way onto my face. I leaned back in my chair and looked over at her. Clearly, she was looking at me too, as she whipped back to writing on her parchment. Her face was a deep shade of scarlet. I couldn't help but notice how beaut-
"What the hell are you so bloody happy about?" Pansy Parkinson interrupted my thoughts rudely.
"Wha-oh, nothing." I responded, sighing and rolling my eyes. For no good reason, Pansy swooped down and kissed me on the cheek before taking her seat next to me and staring at me with sloppy love in her eyes. The spot where she pecked me burned like ice. That feeling spread over my whole body, making me shiver.
"Oh! Are you cold, Draco? Here!" Pansy tried to put her cloak around my shoulders, but I said with cold, hard anger,
"No! Don't touch me! Don't!" Pansy looked hurt and the whole class turned to look at me--except her. She kept on writing furiously, she was intent on not looking at me. Why?
