Our Little Secret

Chapter 9 ~ Part 2 ~

~ Isabell ~

 The somewhat of warm weather felt good on my skin , since all of our weather has been chilly , extremely cold , or it would just snow .

I started walking into the woods when I spotted him . A wide grin on his face .

" There you are , I thought you stood me up . " he says .

" Why would I ever do that ? " I said while acting innocent .

" I've got something to show you . " 

" Umm .. Okay . " I say curiously .

He grabs my hand and starts running , dragging me behind .

We end up in the middle of a meadow . Flowers of all kind . Different shades of colors . He takes out his phone and turns on " A Thousand Years . "

" May I have this dance ? " he takes a bow .

I let out a laugh .

" Yes , yes you may . " I said while taking a bow as well .

 He stood up laughing .

I placed my left hand in his , and my right on his shoulder . He placed right hand in mine , and his left on the small of my back .

He taught me how to waltz and we waltzed around the meadows and talked while doing so .

" I've known who you were for a while . " he said .

I looked up into his eyes .

" What do you mean ? How did you know all that stuff about me ? "

" There was a mission and the mission was to find you , and when I found you I would have to bring you back to Winter territory as soon as possible . But , I'm not sure if I want to bring you back so suddenly . I like you , and I just don't want to never see you again . It's a dangerous world , I wouldn't want to lose you . But I can't betray my queen . "

Tears filled his eyes , and he looked at me .

" Oh no , no don't cry . It'll be fine , if you need me to be somewhere then I'll go there as long as your with me . But please don't cry . "

It began to pour down raining .

" Okay , but uh .. you know when I told you all the things I knew about you ? I said you were ' unremarkably beautiful . But , I guess you didn't hear that part .. "

I blushed a deep shade of red .

" But I must say your even beautiful in the rain " he said while taking my chin in his hand .

He tilted my chin upward , and slowly leaned in . His lips lightly brushed up against mine , and my phone began to ring .

He looked at me .

" Are you going to take that ? " he asked .

" No , not this time . " I giggled .

I wrapped my arms around his neck , and his arms fell in place around my waist .

When our lips touched , it suddenly became cold . Very cold .

We stood like that , in each others arms for a while .

I felt safe in his arms . I didn't want to leave . But I have to , Laura will be worried .

" We should start heading back . " I said .

Time had gone by really fast . I checked my phone , 7:3O p.m showed up on the screen .

1 missed call from ' Mom ' .
