Starting in Chapter 3, Erik and Aref begin to speak in another language (Persian.) I DO NOT fluently speak Farsi/Persian, however I am leaning. I am doing something I have sworn to myself that I would NEVER do:
Use an Online Translator (to be specific, I am using Google Translate)
.... I know. Many people say "DON'T DO IT! IT'S REALLY INACCURATE!" I generally agree with those people. However, I am nowhere near the level I need to be to incorporate Persian into "In the Name of Our Love." So, thus, I use a translator and try to double check what I know using my limited knowledge.
******If someone reading this story is fluent in Farsi/Persian, PLEASE send a message my way, as I am certain that I have made mistakes while writing. Before anyone asks: I DO NOT know ANYONE who fluently speaks Farsi, so I have no one to bounce off of or ask.
I am learning Farsi from offline lessons/podcasts/mp3 recordings. I was learning Italian that way, but wasn't getting as far as I was with Farsi so I ditched Italian. The only language I am being taught professionally (with a teacher) is French.
I hope you enjoy my works. Please comment on (any of) my stories or just start up a chat over the message board. :) I would love to chat.
Au revoir, arrivederci and khodahafez
