It was finally Friday. All of the other girls were at soccer, gym, and dance class so I was alone at the orphanage. Mrs. White and Lindsey were going to the store, the bank, shopping for clothes, and they needed to get the car repaired so I was alone; and was gonna be for a while. They really don't have a problem leaving me alone at the orphanage. It's not like I'm gonna throw a party...like Luke. I was reading,"The Fault In Our Stars," by John Green for like...the third time. I know that's kind of a lot, but this book is so brilliant. I heard a constant tapping on my window, so I got up to see what it was. It was Luke knocking on my window.
"Luke, what the hell are you doing?" I asked. Why would he, in his right, climb to my window? This has to be good.
"I wanted to see if you wanted to go somewhere with me." Luke said with a smile. He looked so
Innocent and sweet...like an angel.
"I don't know...I'm alone right now." I responded, looking behind me to make sure no one was here.
"How long are you gonna be alone?" Luke asked.
"Like...four hours." I said with a sigh. Luke smirked and winked at me. I rolled my eyes at him. He's just too cute to be a human being.
"Ugh fine. Let me change my outfit." I said pulling down my window. Luke smiled and climbed down the fire ladder thing. I toke off my pjs and slipped on my green hoodie and some black shorts. I put on some black converse and climbed out the window. I went down the ladder and was meet by Luke.
"Hello, gorgeous!" Luke commented. He pulled a piece of my hair behind my ear and I pecked his cheek. We started walking until I asked where we were going.
"Well I was hooping we could get ice cream. Is that cool?" Luke asked me.
"That's awesome, but I don't have any money." I said, being sad.
"Don't worry, it's on me." He said patting my back. After a few minutes we were eating Cotton Candy ice cream talking about random stuff. Luke was talking about his family and how their going to DisneyLand over summer break and how his band is getting popular at school. Summer break was just in a few weeks and I couldn't wait.
"So, do you have any hobbies?" Luke asked, eating a spoonful of ice cream.
"Uh, I do ballet." I replied. I love ballet. I've been doing it for about two years now. I sometimes stay a couple of extra hours to just get some of my spins perfect.
"Oh that's cool. Do you have any recitals?" He asked.
"Yeah. We're gonna have one in a few weeks." I responded.
"I'd love to come see you." Luke smiled. I blushed and continued to eat my ice cream. The rest of the day we walked down the beach and went into shops. We actually got kicked out of a store because Luke was being loud yelling that he wanted all the stuff there. It was really stupid. When the day was over, Luke walked me back to my orphanage.
"So...I had fun." I said, looking into his eyes.
"So did I. We should totally do this again." Luke said smiling. I kissed his lips real fast, and climbed up the ladder. When I opened my window, I turned around and called for Luke.
"Was this a date?" I yelled.
"Well do you want it to be?" Luke yelled back. I smiled. I really did wanted this to be a date. I nodded my head yes and climbed in my room. I waved goodbye to him and sat down in my bed. I heard the door open so I opened my book quickly and pretended to be reading.
"Gabby! Can you help with the groceries?" Mr. White yelled.
"Yes I'll be right there." I yelled in response. I was just so happy I didn't get caught sneaking out with Luke.

Authors note: this chapter was short, I know lol😂 Well today I saw Star Wars The Force Awakens and it was pretty good.
